Is it a problem if a good friend pass and you need the hours of daylight to yourself? i work tommrow but i'm not up to going because a good friend of mine simply got kill in a motor accident. she be 22 and like a sister to me. could this stir up trouble at work?Answers: It customarily does, as you are not related. But, you should have personal/vacation time you can appropriate.
Not sure what the situation is at your particular situation, but if you call up and ask for a personal light of day off because of the passing of a close friend, (not a sick day or a compensated 'bereavement' day) I don't think they should doubt. If you don't have any leave or personal days left, you could ask for the time past its sell-by date without clear, which would give them no defence to decline your request.
Sorry for your loss.
It depends on the company you work for/your status within the company/your command.
II can take bad anytime for any reason.but I work for a great company..

Most employers allow time past its sell-by date for the death of a family circle member, but not for a friend. Depending on your employer, specifically you direct supervisor, they MAY give you a break.
