Ebay Scam?!?
I've just recieved a message on Ebay from a user almost a phone I'm selling on there.. He/she said they love the look of the phone, and will present me lb230.00 for it, when it isn't worth half of that?!?! They said if I bequeath them my Paypal email address, they will send the money through straight away :S But I enjoy to ship it to Africa for their cousin :S Does it sound approaching a scam? I'm not going to give them any information more or less myself, but what can they do with simply my email address :SAnswers: be careful

Here's the scam:
You give them your PayPal details and PayPal informs you that you enjoy been credited near lb230.
You send the phone to them.
When PayPal attempts to lift the money from their account (remember, it take about a week) they can't as the ridge account have no money in it.
As a result - you return with no money and they get your phone as it have already been sent.
(Also, you can't claim it wager on from PayPal as they didn't buy it through eBay)
Stay FAR away from this "buyer"! Its a total scam! These scammers from Africa, or Malaysia, or other international countries outside the reach of US tenet target auctions of high-end items (like laptop computers) and then ask to take-home pay with paypal or a check specifically far more than its worth. You cash the check thinking its valid, or paypal credits your side for the amount they say to settle up but its really drawn on a bogus account, or stolen article or an account next to no money in it.
So when the check tries to clear, or Paypal tries to subtract the payment from their portrayal, its declined.
Meanwhile thinking that you've be paid, you ship the item to them surrounded by Africa or wherever, and consequently afterwards the payment bounces and not lone are you left next to no merchandise and no payment, but you are also stuck near the bill for the bounced payment, as all right as all the fees and penalty associated with it!
These scammers are other sniffing around on auctions, especially of valuable items, similar to computers, video game systems and other high-end items. Usually, eBay manage to track them, and ban them as soon as they breed these fraudulent offers, but sometimes they dive through the cracks, and that's when potential and actual victims need to report them, and bring them banned every time they show up!
Report them to ebay, and they will be barred (of course, chances are that they will only just pop up again with a clean account, but that's why we obligation to spread the word about these scam, and just hang on to diligently reporting these crooks!)
STAY FAR AWAY, REPORT THEM TO EBAY, and DON'T TOUCH THEM WITH A MILLION FOOT BARGEPOLE!

It is a scam, don't reply to them at all! Report them to ebay right away. Not that ebay will do anything, but at smallest you did your part.

The owner seems ok but he say that he is not going to tell you why it is so cheap.Answers: No, not lacking a home warranty or something. Also, I think when you are selling a home, by tenet a seller have to disclose any known issues near the home unless it's being sold, "as is, no warranty". There must be some problem near the home. No one is going to sell below marketplace price unless there's some reason he requirements it to go high-speed.
If you do buy, you need to at smallest have the home inspected by a licensed, bonded, and insured professional home inspection firm and bring a written report. That way, there's someone to turn back on to re-coop your costs should in that be a problem. Let the inspector know that you want to know EVERYTHING that they find, and you want assurances that the property is good and nouns. I suspect that this house has something primary.termites, septic or plumbing issues, or something structural wrong with it.
I suggest you use a realtor and attorney for this purchase if you proceed. They are well-versed within issues like this.
