I am looking for a study that shows "Green" organization generate more charitable donations than "non-green".
By Green I mean drive efficient, environmentally friendly, etc...As I work at a not for profit running, I would use a study with positive results as support for attainment money to implement energy reorganized changes.Answers: Sorry I am not aware of any studies that definitively prove your suggestion. The best indicator for people interested surrounded by donating to a nonprofit is the amount of money that goes to support the organization's mission, not overhead expenses. A low ratio of overhead to mission support is what donors are looking for. Unless the mechanism you work for supports "green" causes as part of a set of its fundamental mission, it is very unlikely that going green will minister to raise donations, as the cost of implenting 'drive efficient' changes would elevate your overhead expense, and that ususaly has a cynical impact on donor confidence. However, if going energy simplified will REDUCE overhead expense rather than bump up it, then it will help out increase donor confidence, as more of their money goes to support the actual mission of the org.
As environmental isssues are 'hot' right presently, you could try to find grant or foundation funding to increase your verve efficiency which after would have no impact on the overhead expense, and would not negatively impact donor confidence.

UPS and UPS Mail Innovations?
HI I have ordered the Battlefield 1942 Complete Collection PC Game, and a Wall charger for my iPod both on Friday at walmart.com. I recieved an email that they hold been shipped...and I notice that both are being shipped differently. The wall charger is individual shipped through UPS, and the game is one shipped through UPS Mail Innovations. Is UPS Mail Innovations JUST for mail? or can it be for other things...because i am freaking out that they hold the wrong package. Also, I cant see my tracking details on the UPS Mail, but can see everything for my wall charger on UPS.com. Will my hobby be able to come through UPS Mail Innovations? Or did they mess up and it have to come through UPS?Thank you
