If I received a refund check from a company that I use to enjoy an account next to but I don't know what that refund is for, is it unlawful to cash that check if it turns out it be sent to me by mistake?Answers: no, it's not illegal, but if it IS a mistake, they can request a settlement of the check, and possibly file a lawful action against u to verbs the loss.
