Is the Purpose of Business to construct a profit? Or is it to do something more or better?

Charles Handy writes: The purpose of a business is not to make a profit, full stop. It is to brand a profit so that the business can do something more or better. That ‘something’ becomes the existing justification for the business. Owners know this. Investors needn’t exactness.

Do you agree?

Answers: Yes. I agree. A business must make a profit, or it will starve. But I don't reflect that very frequent business owners are cold blooded enough to be motivated to excellence by money alone. They budge to the trouble to start a business because it allows them to do something that they really want to do, in the style that they really want to do it.

Answers: Ebay specifically states within all emails "Do not respond to the sender if this message requests that you complete the transaction outside of eBay. This type of donate is against eBay policy, may be fraudulent, and is not covered by buyer protection programs." If the seller sent you a second arbitrary offer thru Ebay itself, specifically legitimate, otherwise, it's a scam.

Answers: It adjectives depends on how the business is organized.

Incorporated = the school is liable for your tuition i.e. the unusual "owner" has to train or compensation.

Sole proprietorship = the previous owner is liable for the refund.

Either road, it's time for small claims court and finding a new conservatory. Or better yet, a unusual vocation.
