How old does somebody need to be to take the test to recieve a Series 6 license?
Answers: 18, and study hard. I took it and the series 63. I paid for a school and the test was much easier. good luck

here are some basics:
A = assets . they have a DEBIT nature
L = liabilities. they have a CREDIT nature.
OE = owner's equity. has a CREDIT nature
In balance sheets, this sum would be a great help:
A=L+OE
total assets must always equal the total liabilities & owner's equity
I know a bit about accounting cause I have taken
college courses and have a brother in accounting
but you need to be more specific
the kind of financial statements are balance sheets,
changes in owners/partners/shareholders equity
income statement(also called profit or loss) cash flow statements,
but it is there is more to accounting than financial
statements, accounts make vertical analysis looking
at the income statements, horizontial analysis
looking at income statements of at least 2 years
they calculate changes in partnership (sometimes
people pay extra, or are paid a bonus to join a
partnership) they calculate the issue of stocks and or
corporate bonds (there is more to that than you may
think) bonds can be sold at par, at a discount or
for a premium. There is so much to accounting no
accountant or student can help you when your
question is so vague
Save Money vs. Trip to France ?
High School Senior wondering whether to save money for a sports car, and investments, or use it on a trip to France for 10 days.(Used old car) Vs. (Money draining ten days)
cost is $3,000... Just looking for some input...

Answers: I know how / would advise you... use the 3 august to generate cash flow, and after use that cash flow to buy a vehicle, and go to France.
For 3,000 dollars you could buy a sports car, look on car soup for one for close to 2,000 and then this summer turn on a trip somewhere during the off season, possibly not France but just getting away will merely feel suitable and seeing another place with a different good looks will be refreshing. I personaly love the caribbean and have gone to Cancun for a intact week (airfare included from Mn) and a 4 star all inclusive hotel for $600.00. Go to travelocity and sports car soup and make it so you can do both!
