I know companies are all on their own wacky calendar (fiscal), but does the SEC put out an official scope of dates for quarterly reporting that these companies are supposed to follow?Answers: No, the quarterly returns always depend on the company's fiscal calendar. I worked for a company where on earth their fiscal year when from June - May, so their Q2 earnings weren't released until December.
I would read out No, as each company have it's own financial year end, I assume they would report quarterly starting from the origination of their financial year.
