How does a company/ business increase its sales revenue?
Answers: sales revenue can be increased by the following ways
i. Decrease in price: All things being equal, decrease in price will lead to increase in demand for goods and services, hence increase in sales revenue
ii. Effective advertisement: Business organisation engages in advertisement in order to create more awareness for its product. Thus, effective advertisement will ultimately lead to increase in sales revenue
iii. Introduction of Sales commision: Firms can introduce sales commision to its sales men in proportion to their performance. This will motivate the sales force to have more sales
iv. Increase in Number of salesmen: Business firm can also increase its sales force in order to induce sales
v. Promotions; Firms can embark on promotion and sponsor some programmes in the media in order to make its product an household name which will increase sales.
vi. Introduction of Discounts: Trade discount and quantity discount can be introduced to induce sales, hence increase sales revenue
vii Research and Development: This will help the organisation to know the changes in the consumers taste and fashion which will enable the business firm to produce its goods and services to satisfy the needs of the customers. The result will be increase in sales revenue
It depends on the product, the competition, the market and the elasticity of demand for the product. One way is to lower prices; another way is to advertise; a third way is to raise prices; a fourth way is to hire more sales people; etc. without more information you can't expect meaningful answers.
I have to encolse a 1st class stamp, can i just put in a printed out stamp from the franking machine?
Answers: No you can't, because franked mail must be posted on the same day as that printed on the frank. Franked mail can also only be posted in the place named on the franking circle.
