House cleaning client is missing her camera!?
I clean homes for a living and just now encountered a most self-conscious situation. Shortly after I left from cleaning her home she call me and asked where I have put her camera, she said it was on the kitchen counter and considered necessary to know where I have put it, I explained that I did not recall seeing the camera and have not placed it anywhere. I stayed upset all year since I feel close to she believes I have done something beside her camera so I called her that evening to asked have she found it and also telling her how upset I am give or take a few it. She said she did not think I took it, a minute then her husband got on the phone and said that he did not beleive I took it that he thought that some cup repair guys that were here 2 days prior had possibly took it. Just duplicate I am still so very upset in the region of this and am unsure what to do about it, my mom said not to contribute to replace it since I off course did not pilfer it and am not responsible for it but my dad said to replace it so that I dont look gui
Answers: That's one of the bad things just about working in someone's home or business, especially if they are not near when you are there.
Most of the time, it is a family circle member who take, moves, or misplaces what is missing, especially money - especially when they have kids. It's other the cleaner/workman who gets blamed, never the inherited member.
You did the right piece by answering their questions and calling them that darkness. Now it is time to let it dance and forget about it.
If they bring it up again, or have up you of taking the camera (which they probably won't) you have a choice, preserve denying responsibility and risk losing the account, or appropriate responsibility for the loss (not the theft itself) and submit to pay for the camera.
The more you step on and dwell about the camera to the people/owners the more "guilty" you will appear to them.
Do NOT replace the camera you did not thieve. If you do that absolutely make you "guilty" period. Your father is a boob, what genus of father tells his daughter to replace anything they did not steal, does he want you to look like you did? Is he paying for this and still requests you to appear like you took the item.
The item will turn up, they most predictable put it somewhere themselves or lost it.
If you feel so self-conscious about this overall surrounded by say a wk or two after give your resignation and stop working here. Time usually makes you get the impression better about situations close to these.
If you didn't take the camera and the individuals you
clean for quality that you didn't take it consequently they
obviously trust you.
I have a sneaking suspicion that I would maybe call upon again and ask about it
and I don`t know tell them that if they intend to database a
police report that you would be willing to hold
a lie-detector test if the police want you to.
I don't judge replacing it just to spawn yourself look
not guilty isn't a good belief. I would think replacing
it would tend to hold the opposite effect.
If you are truly innocent, stand your ground.
Have you be threatened with losing your career
over this? I hope not.
If they thought you took it they would call the cops, fire you, sit you down and blame you, etc. Something. Asking if you moved it/saw it means that's what they want to know. They be foolish to leave something small of good point unattended with strangers within the house. It's sad a creature has to vote that, but it's true. Makes more sense for a workman to take it than someone who is getting a steady paycheck.
I would not verbs about it--which is easier said than done.
Private nouns companies?
My parents are going through a rough patch financially.I'm trying to help them out so I tried researching debt regulation companies. I'm drawing a blank, apart from the CCCS and those companies off the TV similar to Ocean Finance.
I might try putting them in touch beside an Independant Financial Advisor, but apart from that, I don't know much more.
They're arguing a bit more now aswell, so is in attendance a specialist counsellor I should look at? or would a regular counsellor be alright?
Thanks for your help
Chris
Answers: NEVER touch a 'debt administration company' that advertises on TV ... (who do you contemplate ends up paying for the TV ads ??)
Start next to Citizens Advise .. or check out Direct Gov. site
Try the Citizens Advice Bureau or one of the voluntary agencies.
They may be able to stabilise the financial situation which would make a contribution a breathing space.
What is opportunity cost? can you pls explain it simply?
Answers: It's an economics term which notes that when you spend money on A that is money you can NOT then spend on B or C or D. In other words, when you buy expensive shoes, you LOST the OPPORTUNITY to buy stocks, invest in a CD (money), etc. so the shoes didn't cost you just $100 but what that $100 could have been used for.
