Better place to live, Jacksonville or Tallahassee?
I am a young single professional primed to move to Florida. I have a opening offer and can choose to live within either nouns and was wondering if anybody have insight on the areas? I've been south of Jacksonville around the Sawgrass nouns and it was a bit bit expensive but really nice, especially the beaches. I've just been to Tampa on the Gulf side so can anybody compare the two cities for me.Answers: Lucky for you, I've be to both cities more than I care to remember.
First of adjectives, Jacksonville is huge. Spans from 1st street all the agency to, what, 54th or something. You've got the city district, and the 'residential' districts.
Upon first going, it may look approaching a complete slum of a city.
...most of it just might be. But if you're a professional, you'll probably be living contained by the 'city-ish' part which is nice. Stay out of alleys.
Tallahassee is pretty historic and political. There's a museum, a officer hall, and a park contained by someone's honor everywhere you look. Upon first appearance, it's some sort of quiet historical town, and that's pretty much the predominance contained by it.
I'm so sorry that I don't have any financial or real-estate insight on the areas, but you've get the point of view from someone who's only plain visited both.
There's a pretty nice apartment complex in the order of 20 miles or so east of Jacksonville, on the highway that would take you to Daytona sand. I know that!
Jacksonville is just instrument more lively than Tallahassee. Yeah the Sawgrass is a nice and really expensive area but commuting from in that just plain sucks. Maybe if you would relate us where your charge might be? Anyways, nice area, biddable golf, good restaurants..you'll be a lucky resident
