Inventory loss?
should inventory loss be added to cost of good sold or deduct from cost of good sold?and if i use FIFO method, how should i total the value of inventory loss? i aim : i have 5 unit of inventories which cost $10 per unit, and 20 unit of inventories which cost $12 per unit. and in a minute the inventory loss is 15 units, so what is the helpfulness of the inventory loss under FIFO?

Answers: Inventory shrinkage is added to COGS.
For systems resembling FIFO, LIFO and Weighted average, the dates of purchase are defining. I shall assume you purchased the 5 units at $10 respectively before you purchased the 20 at $12 respectively. FIFO presumes the earlier purchases are used up first.
You started stale with 25 unit costing $290, and you say the inventory loss is 15 unit. That means you own only 10 unit left contained by ending inventory. These 10 unit must be presumed to have come from the following purchases, at $12 each. So your closing moments inventory is 10 x $12 = $120. The inventory loss is $290 - $120 = $170.
Alternatively, if you wish to multiply inventory loss, your lost 15 units would be valued at (5 x $10) + (10 x $12) = 170.

I have a super great thought that is simple and indispensable. One of those "why didn't I think of that?" inventions. There is nought on the market similar to it. It solves a problem that parents of infants have be dealing with forever. I own made several myself and sold them to friends, who love them, I have requests for more. It is a product that cost going on for $20 to make and sell for $50. If you knew what it be I guarantee you would say "that IS a great idea". I would similar to to see this product mass marketed. I do not want to stay home and product them and sell them myself because I delight in working around adults. I can only manufacture two a day myself. I would similar to to sell this perception, and prototypes to someone who would and could get it patented and market. I want to sell it for no money up front, for a contract through my attorney stating that I will recieve 15-20% of adjectives marketed profit. If you are serious just about helping this idea attain off the ground, I will be healthy to further explain in an e-mail.Answers: first point,you have to turn to a patenting office and enjoy it patented to your own name and rights past you can give or deal in that idea to someone else.....owning the official document will gain you more money......
How do I complain roughly speaking poor service from a company (fascias and guttering?)?
In October 2007 I had work done by a company on gutters, fascias, soffits etc. I be happy that the quote be reasonable (I have obtained several others) & thought that the company be reputable so I agreed to go ahead near the work. They did a good livelihood until the end of the daytime when the workman said he had broken one of the roof tiles & would come subsidise to replace it in a few days. That be 3 months ago and they have still not returned to replace my missing tile. I hold rang the guide office 4 or 5 times but every time they in recent times apologise & say they'll sort it inwardly a week. They say they cannot find parallel tiles in my nouns, but all the local houses enjoy the same roof tiles. Why dance out touting for business in an nouns if you haven't checked out the maket & can't provide the full service? I know it's only a minor problem but it is so annoying. I remunerated good, knotty earned money for that work & surface like they hold let me down. if they have an advert contained by yellow page (or similar) see if they have the logo on the flier, also if their vans are stickered up see if they have the guild of m.c logo on those too.

Once you know your rights, and if they are members of any associations you can steal it from there.

if your in the uk you can contact trading standards.
they will notify you to put your complaint in writing giving them 2 weeks consideration to put the work right and if they dont you will be taking legal behaviour against them.
if they dont reply or do the work get spinal column in touch near trading standards and they will sort it out for you.
i had to use indistinguishable process with a double glazing firm.

you need to draw from it in writing to at hand office,and hold a record of this for adjectives reference,they are only giving lame excuses,,assuming your in the UK,you could ask one of the consumer programmes on the radio to help out, for example the three counties Stephen Rhodes consumer programme,but most of the BBC have these for you to use.

as above poster says contact consumer direct.
Check your newspaper work, does it say they are Fensa registered. fensa is their ruling body, they have to be registered to do this type of work. Write to the company contained by question and procure heavy. Explain that they hold 14 days to carry out the repairs or you will lodge a complaint near Fensa, who do have the power to un register them so to speak and lacking registration they can not work.
