Give example of company that uses price discrimination? Are any forms of price discrimination legal?




Answers: I don't remember what company did it, but a few years ago one of the big salons got into trouble because they were charging black customers more to cut and style their hair, the reason being is that it took longer and more work than white people's hair. Anyways they ended getting sued, the black people won and they charge the same price now.

Whats goin on near my work habbits?

so i work for this construction company... we do everything from grading to paving. i am the grinding dispatcher which deeply means my superintendant call me in the morning next to jobs he desires to set up. he tells me adjectives the equipment we are gunna need, the man power and any substance that needs to be ordered and later i set it all up dispatch the guys and the equipment. i own been doing this for 2.5 years and simply screwd up maybe 4 or 5 times. lately i own been missing things almost day after day now, and i hold no idea why. we are not drastically busy in reality we have simply 3-5 jobs a light of day. so its not a work overload. is somthing wrong with me?? today i get wrote up for forgeting to order a few trucks..


Answers: You predictable have other things on your mind that are distracting you. It could also be that since you are not as busy as usual, that you are have difficulty staying focused on the daily tasks. I find it kind to write down on a note wad the things that I need to do during the workday. At times, the chronicle can appear to be overwhelming, but then you a short time ago need to prioritize the items to preserve them under control.

On Tuesday, I was asked to lay down some flowers/gift for an employee of one of our firms clients who a short time ago had a child. The order be delivered to her home on Wednesday, not a soul answered the door, the packages (2) were disappeared at her door. The Mgr. who had requested this endowment to be sent spoke to her that same day and she have not mentioned anything of acceptance the gift. I settled to call to confirm for a second time that the gifts be sent to the correct place, etc. Everything was correct so they be going to place a "Quality Call" to ask her if she had received the gifts. They have her home number which I had provided but in that was no answer. I afterwards called the Mgr. to ask him if within was another number they would be capable of call. (He know I would be on the phone with them but since he be on another call he didn't pick up my flash.) I looked in Rolodex & provided 800flowers next to her cell no. to continue to investigate where on earth the packages went. We enjoy been doing business near her for 10yrs+


Answers: If 1-800Flowers left the packages on her doorstep, they might enjoy easily be stolen. People were doing that adjectives the time around the holidays with UPS or FedEx delivery. At this point I would contact the flower company again to find out what they know, and give them a moral blasting for leaving the offering exposed to thieves. You might know how to get the company's money pay for, or a replacement gift. Try and procure an alternative delivery address, too.

Edit: I muse your manager's point was that your firm should own handled adjectives the transactions with 1-800Flowers, a bit than dragging the client into it. Just the idea that it be a gift, and you don't get people work for their gifts. Besides, you know how to best get her, and when. If it were a ethnic group member, would you craft them work for their gift, or toy with it yourself?
