I suggest that you go and look at Support Note 9282 International Purchases and GST at www.myob.com.au/supportnotes . Read thru that, have a go at entering it, and check the GST has flowed correctly thru to the BAS correctly.

My thinking goes approaching this. The British Empire required that victorian public schools indocrinated the youngsters to be honest so that the empire could dispatch a person to read aloud India to control a million people, and that character would not steal or create his empire. Over 100 years or so, the working classes also adopted this honest ethos. Now other countries trust us near money and billions of dollars/pounds/euros get deposited within London for they know that we will not cheat them. If so, the success of the UK is principally due to this reality rather than to any faculty of traders or bankers or any hard work. The UK is so conservative that the downside is that we cannot absorb in risky adventures such as creating bright technologies. Agree or disagree and if so why? and what would you do to transform it if any change is needed?
