Second-hand store has low start-up costs, no special permit or licenses are required. Most of your possessions would be earning interest but would be available for other business opportunity. Alcohol-related businesses are cash-cows, but start-up costs are high.
I favor businesses where on earth you have low-cost / elevated turnover inventories and low operating costs. I had such a business but tolerate it go when I sold my house.
