80% network 2.0 startups founder, 20% succeed. What is the function?

What are the reasons, and what should be done to launch a successfull startup?

Just call employer again, what should I do?

Answers:   There are pretty a few reasons, e.g.:
-- Not a well brought-up idea to instigate with.
-- Didn't infer customer needs.
-- Didn't read competitive situation.
-- Incompetent management.
-- Insufficiently capitalized.
-- Plain discouraging luck.
-- Founder is dazzled by his own brilliance.

There's no method to guarantee a successful startup. But you better have a complete business plan, base on reasonable and, if at all possible, verified assumptions. Make sure the key individuals surrounded by the firm -- CEO, CFO, Chief Engineer, Chief Marketeer -- are competent and, if possible, hold prior experience. Also be sure there is ample money available to keep the company going for frequent months. Watch your expenses!
