customer service?

Question:
I need to know what rights I enjoy solely based on mistreatment and substandard service. The company contends that pursuant to the agreement they can charge a ridiculous restocking excise. I say I will not compensate or reward those who don't attraction me as a potential paying customer

Answer:
You have NO allowed rights as a customer when it comes to customer service. All that stuff that they told you is company policy. If you don't like it, start your own personal boycott and don't shop near. It's not like they're holding a gun to your chief and making you shop there. It's as simple as that.
You don't make a contribution enough detail to answer (or even understand) your query. Sounds as if you ordered something (e.g. a special part) which later for some foundation you didn't need; within which case I'd conjecture about whether it be reasonable to demand it in the first place - did they recommend it but capture it wrong, or did you change your mind because you fixed the problem yourself? Are they making a profit on the restocking tax or just charging you what it cost them? Will they know how to sell it to someone else soon? And would you really own been a rich source of repeat business for them?

I once have a row like this next to a computer maintenance firm that looked-for to sell me a modern modem (price about $350); it turned out that they hadn't spotted that the front was broken and a fresh lead ($4) would enjoy fixed it; they wanted $75 for restocking and I told them where on earth to put it. But honestly without knowing more just about the case it's impossible to regard as being.
Truth is customer service SUCKS.
People are lazy and expect others to steal care of their business. News FLASH!! You're not the solitary customer!

How do I buy some Sunw?

Question:
I want to buy some Sunw stock real unpromising, but my mom says I enjoy to wait until I'm elder and I have to verbs my room or I won't get any allowance to buy stocks next to. I can't wait that long. I am going to shovel my neighbors driveway and see if she'll confer me 5$ or some fresh baked cookies. If she gives me the cookies, I'll market them to my friends at school tomorrow and later I can use that money to buy the stock but where!?!

Answer:
YOU can buy anything you want, although I would respect your parent's wishes. After all, they do nurture you and let you stay surrounded by their house and do stuff.

Sun Microsystems is currently selling at about $6.50 per share. You are going to settle up a fee to buy one share. If I be you, I'd start saving. When you feel you have adequate, just travel to a broker and do it.

(You may want to research to find out about minimum purchases. On-line brokerage accounts usually enjoy a $500 or $1000 or $2500 minimum, and stock brokers will likely do duplicate thing. Even though you enjoy enough to buy one share, it may be that you enjoy to save plenty to make a minimum purchase beforehand anyone will do it for you.)

converting money?

Question:
I was lately wondering if anyone could tell me going on for the different amounts of British money - like shillings, pounds, etc., and what they equal to within American money.

Answer:
The pound (symbol: lb; ISO code: GBP), divided into 100 pence, is the official currency of the United Kingdom and the Crown Dependencies. The slang occupancy "quid" is very adjectives in the UK.

The leader full name pound sterling (plural: pounds sterling) is used predominantly in formal contexts and also when it is requisite to distinguish the currency used within the United Kingdom from others that hold the same label. The currency name — but not the name of its units — is sometimes abbreviated to in recent times "sterling", particularly within the wholesale financial markets; so "transfer of funds accepted contained by sterling", but never "that costs five sterling". The abbreviations "ster." or "stg." are sometimes used. The permanent status British pound, used particularly by the U.S. medium, is not an official autograph of the currency.

The pound was originally the convenience of one Troy pound of sterling silver (hence "pound sterling"). The currency sign is the pound sign, originally with two cross-bars, afterwards later more commonly lb beside a single cross-bar. The pound sign derives from the black-letter "L", from the abbreviation LSD – librae, solidi, denarii – used for the pounds, shillings and pence of the inspired duodecimal currency system. Libra was the rough and ready Roman unit of cargo, which in turn derived from the Latin word for scales or be a foil for. The ISO 4217 currency code is GBP (Great Britain pound). Occasionally the abbreviation UKP is see, but this is incorrect. The Crown Dependencies use their own (non-ISO) codes when they wish to copy their distinctiveness. Stocks are often traded surrounded by pence, so traders may refer to Pence sterling, GBX (sometimes GBp), when listing stock prices.

A further crisis followed contained by 1976, when it was apparently leak that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) thought that the pound should be set at US$1.50, and as a result the pound fell to $1.57, and the government settled it had to borrow lb2.3 billion from the IMF. In the precipitate 1980s the pound moved above the $2 level as interest rates rose within response to the monetarist policy of targeting money supply and a lofty exchange rate was widely blamed for the philosophical recession of 1981. At its lowest, the pound stood at just US$1.05 surrounded by February 1985, before returning to US$1.77 during the 1990s. Since 2005, it have risen and fallen next to the Euro against the US dollar. Between November 30 and December 1st 2006, the pound hit a 19 year high against the US dollar, peak at US$1.98 per pound.

Higher interest rates stingy that you pay more interest on your loans, but achieve more interest back on your reserves. The higher interest you wages means the bank can pay out more interest to the saver. Oh and keep some for themselves, unsurprisingly!
