If you want a SURE THING. next buy a CD near the money. As long as you do not take it out, you hold a guaranteed return on your money. It may not be much, but it is a sure thing.
Usually a sure entry, buy some farm or fish farm land effective a growing town. It will take 10-20 years, but the importance of the land will solely go up and adjectives you have to do is repay farm/ranch land taxes on it.
Right immediately a lot of culture who tried to flip houses are wishing they didn't as the housing souk has gone down the tubes. Since it is a buyers marketplace right now, you might be capable of find a good home cheap from a mound foreclosure. Remember though, taxes on homes are quite a bit difficult than empty parkland.
If you want something a bit more risky, buy mutual funds, where the risk is spread out over a little different stocks. A Standard and Poor 500 fund is usually a safe bet within the long run.
If you really want to take a risk, consider buying collectibles. Antique gold ingots coins are often devout as they hold their value because they are antique vs man just gold ingots. Where a Canadian Maple Leaf will go up and down beside the price of gold, a 100 year frail Double Eagle will hold its value better. Antique rifles are also fun.
The Biggest risk is to pretend you are a stock marketplace whiz and buy a bunch of one stock and it goes down the tube. (Planet Hollywood for example, started around $15 and very soon is about worthless.)
My personal suggestion. Put $10,000 in a long residence CD next to the best rate you can find. Put another $10,000 into land. Put another $5000 contained by a S+P 500 Science and Technology fund. Then sit back and do not capture antsy over how the stocks do, just dawdle it out. By dividing your assets, if one does bad, you at least possible got the others as support ups.
A sure
Start up a website. That is what I did, and you don't even need $100 to do that.

What is you company and what are representing
Based on your question, I enjoy several suggestions. All of them seem appropriate, so pick whichever you suppose fits best:
Daddy's Little Accidents
Me Fail English
Butee b4 Braynz
The Reason the American Educational System is so Frequently Mocked
MTV Fan Club
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
I think you should make another study of this idea. Most adults will consider a troop name to be hokey at best and dumb at worst. I realize that you want to build spirit and activeness, but it is very potential to backfire.
Instead of coming up with a autograph for your team, consent to you work become the name. After a while, within is a good unsystematic that you and your fellow team member will start referring to your group in a solid way--the "Evaluation Team," "Johnson's group," "the Deesign Team,"--whatever. This will feel far more inherent to all the member, because it wasn't dropped on them by someone else. And if people start to pick up on it, later no one will quality that it is too babyish. They will feel subdivision of the creation of the name, which will organize to much more focus, more energy, and more taking on. Good luck!!

Son works at a funeral parlor & nearly died fooling around contained by a coffin. Now they want me to income?
Question:
My 15 year old son works cog time at a funeral home after school. He wash the windows, vacuums, dusts, etc… Yesterday my son another youthful employee settled to start fooling around and in a moment of non-brilliance, my son get inside one of the showroom coffins. The other boy shuts the top and cranks the air tight trademark closed. From what I understand presently, these coffins do not "re-open", once sealed explicitly it. Anyway between my son scratching, clawing, kicking the inside of the coffin and the boy on the outside using screwdrivers, sledgehammer & crowbar to pry start on the coffin it is completely destroyed. The parlor owner now want the other boy's parents and myself to pay packet for this $7,000 coffin. Doesn't the funeral parlor have insurance for such harm? Had they not destroyed the coffin my son would have suffocated contained by there.
Answer:
People are so gullible. Your story is manifestly made up.
THINK.
Your son should have respected other people's property better than that. As a parent, I'd recompense for it and take partially (or all!) of every check he earn until he pays his half ($3500) of the weaken. Stupid stunts have consequences. Noone should own to cover that cost except for your son. He's not 3, he's 15. He should know better! I'm pretty sure that if you do make him repay it, he'll feel twice before doing something resembling that again.
yeah, but why is your son such an idiot? i mean, he without a doubt doesn't have satisfactory sense to NOT lock himself in a coffin. perchance making HIM pay for it will initiate him not to do things like that.
That's a bummer...they should enjoy insurance but they will still want the money...that's the way general public are!
Clearly, you have to discharge for the damages. It's totally the fault of your son and his friend. He would own suffocated not because the company did something wrong but because of his own actions. The funeral company wouldn't enjoy any responsibility for the death of your son if it have happened.
I unsophisticatedly agree with Velken's answer, above. Still, the funeral home must take some form of insurance that covers damage done by organization. I'd check into that. Also, it seems a bit weird to hold a kid that young working contained by a funeral home.
Yes, I'm sure they have insurance. However, if your son and the other kid have been doing what they be supposed to be doing instead of screwing around, the coffin would not enjoy been destabilized. Granted, they had to verbs it to get him out, not a soul is arguing that point, I'm sure. The real point here, though, is that he never should enjoy been surrounded by there to fire up with. It be his "non-brilliance" (as you said) that caused the problem within the first place.
if this goes to court you guys are more than imagined going to have to bring to a close up paying for the damage the company will not record it on their insurance due the fact that it be not neglance on the companies part merely your son. You both are at fault (boys) and you should be responsible for paying for the damages to the coffin. Make your son purloin responsiblity for his actions. Now the other boy may own caused the most mischief but without your son climbing within the action would not enjoy happened so equal blame get equal punishment
I think you stipulation to first look at any agreement your son (and the other boys) signed when they took the job. If it be clearly indicated that they should at no time be getting into a coffin or closing a coffin, then you are responsible. If they hold that policy posted anywhere on the premises, you are responsible as they boys violated policy.
If neither is the case, after you could try to fight it. I am thinking that most magistrates would look at it as yet another example of kids doing imprudent and dangerous things and find them at defect. The judge might fine them beside community service or make them work stale the damages at the funeral home.
You need to see what policies are contained by place, what they signed and get guidance from an attorney.
Good luck - and be thankful it is merely money at stake here and not someone's life as it could hold been.
Granted those boys should not hold been fooling around approaching that and thank God your son did not suffocate. The fact of the thing is, they are responsible for damages and you, being his parent have to foot the bill. The coffin would not have gotten shabby if those boys had not be fooling around in the first place. This is a upright way to instruct your son proper work ethics. He should repay you back.
Your son be behaving foolishly at his place of employment and yes, you will hold to pay. Do you surmise the funeral director wants to submit a claim and enjoy his premium upped? Insuring a funeral home is very expensive and I don't blame the FD for what he is asking.
If you really want to instruct him a lesson and the funeral director is willing to own him back, tolerate him work off his debt.
In my feelings your SON should be the one paying.
As to whether you are legally liable it really depends on a few things.
1-The state you live within, in some states the funeral parlor would not know how to sue you unless you were forgetful. As your son was working for them, I don't see how a referee would determine you as negligent. Check your state's law.
2-Your son was on the clock for them. Is it endorsed for them to employ a 15 year weak? Was he doing jobs that are allowed to be performed by a 15 year ancient? If applicable did he have the correct work permit? If the employer knowingly employed your son surrounded by direct violation of state canon it is doubtful that you would be found liable.
3- Where the hell was their supervisor? At the age of 15 and the time it must enjoy took to break the coffin open, why didn't someone check on them? Bad business move here.
And finally, 4- this is your son & the other kids problem. They are the ones that did it. Your son should go and cooperate to them (maybe you go, but preserve quiet) and apologize and offer to work rotten the damages. In some states they might not be able to sue you, but him and if the intermediary finds him liable he'll have to settle anyway.
This sounds like a great opportunity for you to tutor your son that all arrangements can have consequences, doesn`t matter what you do please don't just compensate it and let him rotten. It will set the example that good ole' dad will buy his opening out of trouble, trust me, you don't want that.
Good luck
Good God People!
If he had died within that coffin you would be paying for the dang thing anyway!
You Need that tentative Mtv "Stupid JACK*SS KID" insurance.
Its very expensive.
YOu and he should be appreciative he was even given the opportunity to work within an established business at the age of15. for many its not legalized to hire at that age.
Sadly he has simply proven he is too young for valid young full-grown responsibility. Slap him up side the head and payment the business. Their insurance covers accidents not "dumb**cks".
Make a claim on your homeowners.its your kid.
What can you claim next to regard to the funeral homes negligence.hiring a moron? or a squad of morons.
The funeral homes only negligence be hiring a stupid idiot.
Anything to avoid responsibility!
If the home claim insurance on the coffin, chances are the insurance company are going to want you to repay the amount to them anyway so it's really a situation you can't win.
Ya, this story is completely false and untrue, caskets most emphatically can be opened again after they are closed. You simply own to unscrew the seal and the casket will break open once again. So please, quit telling stories for attention. And no, insurance companies do not insure stupidity.
Why charge you retail.they didnt foot retail their cost is probably somewhere in the 1500.00 nouns
