Well!! economy is somewhat an abstract permanent status. There are many parameter that determine the economy of a country. The GDP (Gross Domestic Product), CPI (Consumer Price Index), The surplus or deficit contained by the Govt. Budget are some of the parameters.

Have a really positive attitude araound her. Always smile and tell her obedient morning or to have a nice time when you leave. Niceness wear on people as much as rudeness.
They may be suffering from depression. As a co-worker, you can't compel them to aim help, but you can explain to them to quit announcing their business all over the bureau.She is totally depressed.
