It's pretty rotten that friends would avoid you in recent times because you don't view this as an opportunity for you. Hopefully it's really a situation of them looking for others to recruit into the business and, because you're already a "no," they're looking elsewhere. If they really are friends, they'll be wager on. Will you still be there? Also, I wouldn't consider your fiance "brainwashed" merely because he believes this is something he can do to earn income. For hundreds of thousands of people, Quixtar does provide income that help them achieve their goal.
I think if you love your fiance you would be supportive, express your reservations, and work near him on financial and time parameters (how much time, money and action should he put in) since you will (hopefully) need to spend a lifetime doing this next to him as your husband.
Anyway, it's not a business for you and that's OK. Don't dismiss it for everyone else, however, who believe that they can do it and are trying. Do tell your friends that you're upset they're avoiding you. If it's because every time they see you you're describing them you don't like Quixtar, perchance it's a situation you've contributed to.
