When I ran a plastics company, we run into a situation with one of our suppliers that created a situation where on earth our primary plastics compounds become very scarce. We have proprietary mixes of our compound and only one supplier. The supplier have a major fire which closed one of their production plants and seriously predetermined their ability to provide compounds. They declared Force Majeure which intended that they weren't legally obligated
to fulfill their directions to us. We were told that we would receive lone ten percent of our orders. This departed us with a unadulterated material shortage and we have to develop a plan to allocate the material we have, knowing that we could only fulfill just about ten percent of our orders.
