Hi, Does any one know how to either fashion or use a 12 month profit and loss account report surrounded by Sage Line 50? The standard 1 month against year to date just doesnt cut it!

Click on "Financials" later click on P & L. You will be given the option to nominate the date selection that you want. So if you have a year starting on 1st of December 2005 and you want to run a P & L to 30 November 2006, set the "date from" windowpane to December 2005 and the "date to" window to November 2006. If you are using everything as "Default" after it should work now. If you own made up your own chart of account instead of using the defaulting one then alter the Chart of Account window to the one you want.

Sorry, I misunderstood what you considered necessary. I am sure that a monthly analysed P & L is not available as standard on Line 50. It may be that you can design your own by using the Report Designer function but, personally, I feel it would drive you mad to try it. If you are determined to use Line 50 for this and you own Sagecover, then phone Sage to see if it can be done. If it be me, I would just set up a worksheet on Excel, print stale the individual monthly P & L reports from Sage, then enter the amounts onto the spreadsheet. Once it have been set up it will not give somebody a lift long to transfer the information. If you want to have a 12 month rolling report afterwards it is easy to remove the oldest month and donate the lates one.

If you have dozens of books or CDs, Amazon might be the best. For everything else, Ebay is probably best.
If you are serious in the region of this:
* Look at Ebay auctions. Find some from people next to feedback in the thousands. Look at their auctions. Do similar things within yours.
* Usually you need a obedient photo. It's hard to buy something you enjoy no idea what it looks close to.
* Plan to sell a few dozen small things to pump up your positive feedback. People don't want to buy a big item from someone beside no feedback.

The cost issue is also influential as is troubleshooting and maintenance.

I enjoy been surrounded by the printing industry for over 8 years and have delt beside digital printers. Below is what I have experienced.
Heidelberg QMDI(Pro used $150k-$200k, alien $350-$500k): Although Heidelberg doesn't make this press any longer, they still service them. Ryobi and Kodak are making the QMDI better than Heidelberg did. Great for short runs (250-50k). Most printers gang run for cost reason as you may know. Quality is good and can run stock up to 12pt coated or uncoated at speeds of 10k per hour(not recommended). The usual speed is 7,500-8,500 to define hickies and roller marks. You may encounter roller grades and ghosting due to the way the daily is feed into reporters and the size of the rollers.
Nexpress 2100($350k): This digital press was a mutual venture between Kodak & Heidelberg. Kodak bought them out and begin making the Nexpress 2100. Expensive machine. 350k brand brand new plus you have a click charge. One article about this press is that previously it prints your job, it feed 5-10 blank sheets of stock before printing. This is to assistance keep journalists clean. But this may not work. Morning setup take 20-35 minutes and then 40 minutes to shut down(cleaning of machine). Kodak will transport a person from your company to the East coast for training. This training is usually $8k. Then you enjoy your click charge TBD by your sales rep. We tried 12pt but the broadsheet had to much moisture which squeezed out to much sea. Has many tabloid trays to load it up and permit it be which is good. You can gang run or set 1 post on the sheet. The 8000 is a sibling to the IGen. Almost the same components but the IGen is the daddy for the bunch. Easy to run(they will convey you to Los Angeles for training).
Indigo($200-$350k): Since HP bought Indigo they have be pretty good. Variable notes, 5th color and inline coating are great. A lot of the online stamp photos use the Indigo. Good quality and in haste turnaround on jobs.
Xeikon: Won best press at Graphics Expo. Great net color press. 12x?. I have not see the quality on this press but from what I own read, it's great!

They hold the best range and best peer review if you ask me. Not generate to push sales as much as catch community involvement. Amazon has the product margin to cover many reviews and epinions have its network of sites they cover and devoted reviewers. Both are free.
consumer reports.com might be a good place to start -- they are an independent, but broadly conventional, resource and do not receive endorsement or support from the companies they review
Consumerreports.org is a subscriber service and magazine that does independent (not corporate paid) spec carrying out tests of most consumer goods. Pcmag.com also have great spec testing reviews for most computer and small digital products such as cameras and they will usually own consumer reviews (as people post them). I enjoy found that it is better to believe the experts and specification testing than a cumulative group of average Joe's similar to you and me. I could look at two digital pics and probably never see things such as purple fringing (or know what it is minus being told) but it is a factor that can front to long term print quality of digital cameras.
It also depends on what type of products. Consumer Reports covers simply about every brand of everything you can consider from automobiles (which consumer repair history) to ovens to curling irons. More specific sites, like Digital Photography Review (www.dpreview.com), cover simply digital cameras making their data more specific and they allow user reviews and forums.
The shopping sites (amazon, yahoo shopping, cnet, etc) own too many generic postings that won't contribute you the info you need. For example, "take great pictures" doesn't tell you anything almost whether those are digital images view on the camera LCD, a monitor, or printed at 12x18 for professional displays. And "I just bought this and it works great" doesn't inform you anything about expected long-term reliability or features.
