When we receive the bill from the freight company we also book it against the same tale so that they offset one another. I would say no. The purpose aft freight in/freight out is to track a specific cost of the sale that your customer is responsible for. It is not considered module of the sale, it is in recent times a reimbursed cost that your cutomer is paying. When you purchase inventory and pay freight, explicitly the company's cost and it should be recorded contained by a separate account.
