Any type of Stainless Steel, 18/10 , AISI 316, etc... I'm looking for more information on how to figure out an approximate cost for "designing surrounded by stainless steel". If I were a supervisor overseeing a designer designing kitchenwares for Alessi, how do I estimate how much the manufacturing or production cost is going to be (Obviously, I would basically talk to the entrepreneur to find out the total cost, but I don't have a "manufacturer" to ask). Feel free to provide an example, or pick something on the market and shed some desk light on it. I appreciate any comment or speculations (even keywords to search from).

I also cannot stress enough the necessity of internships and on campus involvement. Actively look for internships (www.fastweb.com and www.collegeboard.com have great resources) that game your future goal. Campus involvement (professional fraternities, social sororities, clubs etc) also play a heavy role on your resume. THe more involved you are (while maintain a good GPA), the more you demonstrate to employer you can handle multi-tasking.

Flex Spending Account (FSA) - Is it really worth it?

I am trying to figure out if it is worth it to hold a flex spending account. The plan does not proposition a debit card so claims need to be sent by correspondence. I sent in my claim form beside receipt for a prescription on 1-15. I be told on 1-26 that my claim was received. I be told today that my claim was processed (2-15). I be then told the check would be mail in 2-3 business days and should expect to receive my check surrounded by 10 days or so. That is nearly 6 weeks without my money. I know I'm positive money on taxes but if I have to skulk 6 weeks, my money could be earning interest (and for individuals using their credit card to pay...in your favour on finance charges!) and free myself the hassle of filling out paperwork, postage, making copies (I've have lost claims) and having to telephone call to follow up on the claim/reimbursement.

I guess you want whaether it is worth it or not if the amount is small or large. A larger amount make it worth the hassle with the taxes you gather.
I think it really depends on how tons FSA's you have (my family unit has three - one for parking, one for medical, and one for dependent care)...and how much you put into it. For us, it is worth it and the hassle is minimal - profusely more minimal than yours is for you. I simply print a form...fill it out, fax it, and the money is deposited directly to my checking statement within a few days. (We set that up ahead of time). Yours sounds similar to a nightmare. If you are FSAing just a few hundred bucks, its probably not worth the action...and no, it shouldn't take that long for processing.
