Question About A Retail Stores Responsibility To Satisfy A Customer?

Question:
I purchased a very nice Columbia brand jacket from Kohl's online just now. As stated on my bill, I ordered a size Large and received an XX Large.
Ok, mistakes happen. I bought it at a philosophical discount since we are out of season, now within are none available online.
I was told to step around to their stores and see if i could find one and they would do an even exchange.
Shouldn't that be their responsibility since they made the mistake?

Answer:
That all depends on the details of their return policy. Particularly for discounted/clearance items, stores are impeccably within their "rights" to impose sanctions returns or exchanges at all.

If they're likely to let you exchange it, great. But I'm sure that the solid problem is, they don't have any detailed inventory of what they own left contained by their stores and no way to cross mention that to their online ordering system.

On the other appendage, I'm not saying it's a fitting way to hold on to customers...
Yes. If a store cannot satisfy its customers, it cannot stay contained by business very long.
It seem that no two customer service people donate the same suggestion to settling a problem. Unfortunately Kohls was so busy trying to keep hold of your money that they missed the mark.

First they should hold apologized, refunded your money instantly and suggested you try their clearance departments for the right size.

Pesatas to Sterling conversion needed from 1988?

Question:
I have a moment ago watched the ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES episode where on earth Rodney wins the drawing competition and goes to Spain next to Del and Casandra and wins the lottery. They win 1,000,000 Pesatas but they can't clain it as Del have forged Rodney's passport so he passes for a 14 year frail. I'm Having an argument with my mate whether 1,000,000 Pesatas be alot of money in 1988. Please relieve as soon as possible please.

Answer:
You can convert it using this website:

http://www.oanda.com/convert/fxhistory...
I could be a few out but the peseta fluctuated a lot around this time but I construe around 280 to300 to the pound.
I think near were 1000 pesetas to the pound afterwards,so that would have be lb10,000. Worth a lot more consequently than now. I vanished a telephone message for my son who be due to visit me surrounded by Tenerife where I stayed for a while, reminding hinm to bring some pesetas for a cab from the airport. My dad passed the message on in his own method, so my son arrived with ten pounds of potatoes!
Here is a great site for converting currency, it still does pesetas even although they are antiquated:

www.xe.com

I use this quite regularly its very simple and straighforward, oh and according to this site 1,000,000 pesetas is a moment ago under lb4000.
I lived within Spain in 1988 and the 1,000 pts memo (known to expats as a mil) was used as the equilvalent of lb5. So 1,000,000 pesetas be worth about lb5,000 - next to inflation lb8,000 in 2007 money. Enough to replace the Reliant but not to retire on
