Don't hold yourself down to a planner or a long list.
I use a 3 x 5 card. I put a few of the things that I enjoy to do that day. I take it with me. I look at it when I am at a red insubstantial, on a break, etc. The 3x5 isn't that big so I cannot load it down near a lot of stuff. Therefore the index seems supportable. Plus there's some satisfaction surrounded by crossing off the tasks. Challenge yourself to do it and see if you receive some results.
