how legal are on row surveys?
Question:Answers:
The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to salary before you can seize these surveys.
Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research conscript members base on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will distribute surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays one and only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich next to that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys surrounded by a month.
Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything a moment ago the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).
The article "Earning Money from Surveys" provide a short enumerate of legitimate bazaar research firms and contains explanations of what to look for when joining surveys (and weeding out the fraudulent ones)

I single know of one that really pays. It's viewpointforum.com. It takes a while to earn plenty points to cash contained by, but I've made about $30 since joining ending September. Surveys are sent every couple of weeks, at best.
It depends upon the sample. If anyone at adjectives is invited to respond, then the results are unlikely to be representative of any population. If within is a screening process whereby the respondents can be selected according to specific recommendation (age, gender, income, for example), consequently there may be some significance within the results. However, it would be better for the research team to compile several sets of rqualified respondents and pinch an average of the results.
Then there are the question themselves. They may contain elements of bias, e.g., "Should we stop letting terrorists into our country?" obviously give the respondent the answer. Simple polls asking anyone to answer a question resembling "Do you think George W. Bush is doing a accurate job?" would not procure a representative sample of the complete population and the question fail to define "a dutiful job".
So, online surveys can be legitimate, but plentiful are not for reasons given above.

What does it scrounging when something is prorated?
Question:Dictionary.com doesn't give a fitting enough definition for me. It doesn't hold an example.Answers:
A good example is when you buy a up to date car battery-operated. Maybe for one whole year if that battery-operated goes impossible, they will replace it free. After the year, if the battery go bad you will not bring a free replacement but will get possibly 75% of the price of your battery. The longer you own the battery the smaller amount the replacement sum will be. It is prorated according to how long you have have the use of the battery versus how much more use you are guaranteed. A five year battery-operated that goes desperate in the first year will be prorated to supply you a free battery or a pretty big portion of the cost of that battery-operated. A five year battery that fail in the fourth year will be prorated according to the reality that this is a four year old freestyle with an added year of warranty. You might just find 25% of the value of a tentative battery.

There's a little disadvantages to owning a business, however, I think that the advantages and the potential far outweigh the disadvantages. The specific disadvantages depend on what type of business it is (service, engineering, retail sales), however, since I've been within business for myself for the past couple of years I can share what the disadvantages own been for me:
1. You work harder for smaller amount pay
(Usually more than 40 hours per week)
2. EVERYTHING depends on you
(Which can be draining emotionally and physically)
3. You settle more for FICA/social security
(When you're employed by a company, the company pays partially and the employee pays half)
4. Your duty returns are a lot more complicated and you enjoy to pay quarterly taxes a bit than someone else handling this for you (employer)
5. Sometimes clients don't respect your personal time (I've had clients telephone call me at 7 am! or 11 pm!)
6. Can add abundantly of stress to your life (You own to be more aware of self-care when you're self-employed-Eating right and exercising; Taking time off)
7. Sometimes you have to wear adjectives the hats and you don't want to
8. Managing human resources and their attitudes and personal issues
9. Can be very lonely if you work alone or at home
10. Training workforce and hoping that they care in the order of "your baby" as much as you do and letting go of control can be difficult to run

Typically in attendance will be a notation on the check saying "Void after 180 days". But that notation have to be specifically requested. Otherwise checks have no notation and are other eligible to cashed.
I don't know the legal starting place. I guess it helps protect a company from have stale checks cashed.
Banks are supposed to follow the notation on the check. If a bank cashes the check within error, then they take on the liability.
The business would need to issue a unusual check after 180 days.
