It's a bit silly, but fun, and fundamentally illustrative!
Have two population stand back to put money on, but so that everyone else can see them. Then have two others paw them each a sheet of plain article whilst saying "Take this. Just approaching this". One should be handed the sheet (very deliberately) contained by 'portrait' orientation, the other contained by 'landscape' orientation. Instruct them to do EXACTLY what they are asked.

I worked at two different banks and I would encounter this situation masses times. If they do, just ask them to deposit it anyway.
