You are correct. It is anyone examined by the patent department and if they accept it, next the patent is granted. I suppose there can be a anticipation attached to the "pending". Underneath the chart, why is the first calculation for the CPI for extent 2 from period 1 equal to 41%? The manuscript doesn't really tell how it get the answer so I want some clarification. And also, I thought CPI only applies if the picnic basket of goods stay equal? In this example, the quantity change so how can a CPI be derived from this set of data?

Yes, I do live paycheck to paycheck...and probably the majority of the world is also! I go to college full time, enjoy one full time day mission, and a part time weekend career... And there is no other course around it...I want to get my doctorate point which means I will be living this natural life style for a while! (I really don't know how I ever get any home work done) I hold to pay for my nurture and I try to help my parents out also, because they hold major financial problems. Money any makes your duration easier to greatly complicates it, and in my defence it definitely complicates my enthusiasm! But I guess we all requirement to consider the poor people contained by third world countries who will never have the fate to receive an education and the culture that don't even have a roof over their headwe really are lucky compared beside the majority of the world, people who don't even own a TV, will never own a coup¨¦ or a house...Life is hard, but we must be grateful.
