My company's GST account is have a negative number of -$4,946.45 as a hole balance on March , it be couple government discount cheques received but has not be posted yet. On March, we received 2 more settlement cheques (total $1,472.71), so the closing balance on March have added up to -$6,419.16 (negative number). However, I noticed that $521.45 among that $1,472.71 are not supposed to be posted within that GST account (it supposed to be surrounded by another account). So can someone show me how to adjust this in a spreadsheet and how much should be surrounded by the closing balance after adjustment?

I applaud you and your youth group for wanting to carry a team together for Relay For Life.
