How do bazaar maker work?

Question:
Like on otcbb stocks, how do market maker change their bid/ask so like greased lightning? Say UBSS will move his ask up a tick and then inwardly a second NITE will move his bid up a tick to keep the spread duplicate. How do they do this so quickly if the flea market makers are out of different locations?

Answer:
Maybe you are assuming that NITE changed his bid, because he saw that UBSS changed his ask. But that's not necessarily the luggage. What if both NITE and UBSS changed their bid and ask in recoil to some other indicator? Maybe UBSS changed his ask first just because he be faster.

Maybe they decided to shift their bid/ask because they just feel like it. Remember, if I am sitting contained by my room and enter a little bit better bid, I am not necessarily watching that someone else raised his ask price. When near are hundreds of traders watching the same stock, it is possible that they conduct yourself quickly together, and the result looks as if they be reacting to respectively others moves when in sincerity they were merely doing their own thing. :)

Market makers' livelihood is to create liquidity. They get salaried by the number of shares they trade, so their goal is to go and get people to trade as various shares as possible.

Some daytraders follow rules that spell out when to sell. Market maker know these rules. For example, one of the rules is "if the stock goes down 2%, after sell." Other traders vend if the stock goes down 7%. So, when souk makers see that traders buy a stock, the bazaar makers may try to rub down the price by selling the stock... If they can push it down a few percentages, next other traders will sell as capably. Just like an avalanche, the selling begin. When one trader sells, it cause others to decide to vend as well. More and more population sell as the price go down. The whole purpose of flea market makers' selling is to scare nation into even more selling, so there would be lots of other populace selling too, which translates to BIG VOLUME. The bigger the volume, the bigger the profit for market maker! ;-)

Of course, market maker don't sell adjectives the time. Sometimes they buy. For example, if they see that many traders sold a stock, next they start buying in writ to push the price up to scare the seller. As more and more traders become scared, they start covering their short positions, and this drives the price up. This cause more traders to get terrified, so they buy more. This operation is called a "tolerate squeeze."

I don't want you to think that flea market makers are the grounds for all the ups and downs surrounded by the market, because to be precise not true. There are traders, investors, fund managers, open market makers, and daytraders who are adjectives playing at the same time. So, of late because you see a 5% drop one day surrounded by one of your stocks, that doesn't mean that souk makers did it. :)

Info on a us dime?

Question:
does anyone have any info opn a dime that be miss stamped it only have half the stamp on it im not sure the year but it be found in some changeover we had i hold had pple present to buy it but would like to know its worth

Answer:
If both sides of the dime hold only a portion of the design detectable, then you hold an "off-center" error coin. This happens when the coin blank is inadequately positioned into the die collar during striking process. The value of it exceedingly much depends on the condition, year and type of dime, and the percentage the coin is off-centered. Also depends on how much someone's willing to pay envelope for it coz there really isn't a proper price guide near standard values for error coins. Each error coin is unique. Take for example a 35%-75% off-centered 1995 dime. In uncirculated class, it's valued at about $17. Then a 1976 dime next to the same off-center characteristics is valued at $35, while a 1990 off-centered dime have a sale history of $30. With these data, and take into consideration that your dime have been circulated, you should know how to come up with a rough concept on how much your error coin is worth.

http://cgi.ebay.com/199-off-center-dime_...

A couple of links to some dimes on eBay that seem to be like peas in a pod thing as what you are conversation about. I would check out eBay yourself and see if you can find the one most similar to yours and see what it sell for. That can tell you profoundly. Click on the coins and paper money category, later under Coins: US select errors. Then put within dime in the check out bar. That should bring you right to what you're looking for.

For an actual appraisal (which would be better in my opinion) contact a coin shop. I don't know what they might charge you to do it. Good luck. I hope it's worth like mad.

(edit) oops. pardon me. both links travel to the same auction. Sorry going on for that.

How do you figure percentage?

Question:
I just go to Barnes and Noble and purchased 5 new books worth almost $60 all together..........I have an idea that I just made the stupidest mistake ever because the bank clerk asked me if I was a appendage........I said no........she asked if I wanted to associate for $25 a year and since I was buying adjectives hard covers I would amass 20%..........I thought only for a second and apparently didn't think long satisfactory about how much I would own actually save if I became a branch...........now, I'm not sure if it's 20% past its sell-by date the entire purchase price or 20% off respectively book........I think the desk clerk must've thought I was dumb or something for not wanting to come together and save money.........one root why I didn't want to join is because I thought I would certainly have to settle even more money because I had to settle up the $25 fee on the spot..........what do u reason? And I have no notion how to calculate percentage...........I suck at math..........

Answer:
If you have to add 20% of something, then you a moment ago multiply the thing by 0.20. That's adjectives.

Here's your formula for calculating percentages:

(SOMETHING) x (PERCENTAGE / 100) = RESULT

(THE PRICE OF BOOKS) x (20 / 100) = ___

When you're calculating percentage, it doesn't matter whether you find 20% of respectively item and add together the results or you give up the prices first and then divide 20% of the total. The result will be the same!

I would probably include the prices together and then total the percentage. For example, you have these 5 books:

$4.50
$6.75
$23.99
$16.50
$12.75

TOTAL: $64.49

To find 20% of $64.49, you solve the following problem:

64.49 x 0.20 = ___

That's 12.90. So, the 20% of 64.49 is 12.90.

Here's another opening to calculate 20%:

You ask yourself what's 100% of $64? That's $64!
Now, you ask yourself what's 10% of $64? That's $6.40.
Ok. Now 20% of 64 would be 10% + 10%, so that mechanism you just join $6 + $6. That's $12. So, 20% of $64 is roughly $12.

Here's another way to solve this problem:

If you own to find 20% of $64, you visualize the problem in your pave the way:

64 x 0.20 = ___

You simplify the problem:

64 x 2 / 10 = ___

Now solve it! You solve this in your go before: 60 x 2 is 120.
And 120 divided by 10 is 12. So, the result is $12.

If you are bad at math, you would do yourself a favor by study the basic rules and carrying a calculator near you wherever you dance. That's just my evaluation.

If you don't know how to calculate the result contained by your head, that's OK. That's why population invented the calculator! But if you don't know what to do with the numbers to catch the result, that's bad. A calculator won't backing you much if you don't know whether you should add the numbers together or multiply or divide... That's why we revise math.
Amount times percentage divided by 100
60 X 20 / 100 = $12

Savings $12
membership cost : $25
Membership cost after discount:$13
Total amount to be remunerated $73 (instead of $60)

You were right . You would hold had to repay $13 dollars for the membership . Now, if the memberships allows for 20% bad every time you buy a new book, after it would be worth it .

If you had purchased $125 of late now, afterwards buying the membership would hold been similar to getting it for free because 20% of 125 is $25 ( 12.5+12.5)
20% off of respectively book is the same as 20% rotten of the entire purchase. 20% is the same as 1/5. Your purchase be 60 dollars. 20% of 60 is 12. By purchasing the membership, you would be paying 13 dollars more on the spot. With supplementary purchases over time you would begin to squirrel away money.

Maths request for information, can anyone please relief me next to this quiz!?

Question:
Maths Question

A Company has lb300,000 of brand new machinery, which it expects to have a adjectives life of 15 years and a piece value of lb30,000.

Under current excise laws the company is allowed to spread the depreciation over the 15 year term and to claim the depreciation back against export tax each year. However, the Government is proposing to translation the law, so that depreciation of equipment can solely be claimed in the year the equipment is scrap.

The company pays tax at 30%, and can invest money at 7% per year, how will the make over in the system affect the company’s financial position?
Compare the Net Present Value of respectively system.

Answer:
Well firstly, under the current classification I assume the depreciation of lb270,000 is evenly over 15 years, thus lb18,000 per year! In depreciating the machinery by lb18k per year this charge reduces the profit plane by lb18k which means the company pays lb18k worth of 30% duty less which channel it saves (lb18,000 x 30%) lb5,400 within tax owed. If it invested this money at 7% afterwards by the end of the subsequent year it would have (lb5,400 x 107%) = lb5,778

So at the extremity of each year assuming that the amount it save in toll on depreciating the machinery was reinvested respectively year.

YR1 lb5,400
YR2 (lb5,400 x 107%) + lb5,400 = lb11,178
YR3 (lb11,178 x 107%) + lb5,400 = lb17,360.46
YR4 (lb17,360.46 x 107%) + lb5,400 = lb23,975.69

etc.... (its easy to do on a spreadsheet an you should grasp the following balances at the winding up of each year)

YR1 lb5,400.00
YR2 lb11,178.00
YR3 lb17,360.46
YR4 lb23,975.69
YR5 lb31,053.99
YR6 lb38,627.77
YR7 lb46,731.71
YR8 lb55,402.93
YR9 lb64,681.14
YR10 lb74,608.82
YR11 lb85,231.44
YR12 lb96,597.64
YR13 lb108,759.47
YR14 lb121,772.63
YR15 lb135,696.72

Whereas if the canon was to regulation and depreciation can only be taken at the scrap date then at YR15 the rates saved would be lb270,000 x 30% = lb81,000

So lower than current methods the company would save/make lb135,696.72 by depreciating the machinery over 15 years, and under the proposed method they would save/make lb81,000 by individual claiming the depreciation in the final year, a lb54,696.72 loss underneath the new system.

What is contract? according to business tenet.?

Question:
