However, if I try and buy something off the internet from a US shop, they any will not send to the UK or if they do next they will only distribute if via UPS which I have to clear for when I receive it and this can cost more than the items are actually worth. They read aloud that this is something to do with customs declaration etc. But I have other sent items I have sold in a foreign country via International signed for post and have packed out a customs declaration, this never costs me anything close to I would get charged if sent via UPS.

Is in attendance a way of buying items (mainly clothes) from a US shop over the internet and next only paying average US shipping?

What is the "lemon problem" within economics?

Question:
are there any implication when a start-up approaches a venture capitalist?

Answer:
The "Lemon Problem" refers to a newspaper written by Akerlof about used cars and asymmetric information. In short, he found that seller would keep the best cars out of the marketplace.

Buyers are looking for the best deal. If nearby are no "best deals" available, they'll have to revise their definition of a "flawless deal," base on the features of a car observed. The same process is used by the seller's nouns, and shows that the best cars are kept out of the market.

This imply that the best start-ups will not be needing funding, because they be already selected by the top VC firms. Referring wager on to Akerlof's model, the "good" start-ups are the ones left on the flea market.

Lesson: easier to approach for further funding once discovered by a reputable financial sponsor.

Should the merit of trademark be included on the symmetry sheet?

Question:
can you give some reason please..

Answer:
You bet, but only underneath specific conditions. Trademarks are included on the balance sheet solely when they are bought as part of a business combination and/or are specifically identifiable (FAS 141).

We must remember that this is an accounting give somebody the third degree, not a business question. Using the previous answerer's example of Nike - yes, the trademark of Nike is huge to that company. It outsources its business, logistics and even parts of its design. So the company is the running shoe equivalent of Coca-Cola. It is a trademark and a brand identity.

However, you look on Nike's latest annual report:
http://www.nike.com/nikebiz/investors/re...
Look at footnote 4. You'll see that Nike have $34.6m of amortizable trademarks and $381.5m in unamortized trademarks. These amounts be primarily brought about through acquisition. However, these amounts do NOT include the unrecorded value of Nike's brand.

Why? Accounting is base on various founding principles approaching the matching principle, revenue detection principle, full disclosure principle and the historical cost principle. Trademarks should still be recorded on the symmetry sheet if/when their is a basis is agreed (historical cost), their amortization matches the revenue (FASB 142 and fitting principle).
Brand identity is very central to corporations. It is how consumers remember a product and become repeat buyers. Where would Nike be without its "swoosh", and Microsoft's little pane symbol, and many heaps other companies. So this is valuable to them and it should be included as an asset on their stability sheet.

What do you charge for babysitting??

Question:
when i babysit, people tend to a short time ago give me money instead of asking what i charge, and i guess they pay too much, and afterwards i feel guilty cuz what if they needed that money?

one boy and two girls.a 5 yr old set of twins and a 8 yr outdated. i stayed overnight with their parents here, then babysat from 7:30 AM -6:30 PM, after i stayed over night again beside their parents there and later they left and i babysat adjectives three of them probably from 7:30-1. she gave me $50. i be gonna ask for $40.

what should i do so that i don't feel guilty nearly taking more than i planned for? they're all family circle friends.

Answer:
for the first one I think thats give or take a few right, the second one $25 is about right, the third one is MUCH LESS than that position is actually worth ! = within all scenario if they were hiring professional babysitters it would cost much more...

Whats the contract beside rebate?

Question:
you ever buy a computer and it comes with a card that say mail this surrounded by for a certain amount of money support or hear that commerical for new cars 22,000 dollars beside 3000 cash backbone?
why cant they just provide the dang thing for the right amount of money? why do you necessitate 22,000 if they will give you subsidise 3,000? do rebates piss any one else past its sell-by date?

Answer:
Isn't that rebate price just luscious? You think "Sweet this laptop is simply $1200.00, and then contained by fine print under the sticky label it says "After Rebates Only, Original retail price $1500.00"

The explanation so many things come beside the ever so awesome mail surrounded by rebate is that most people do not convey away for the rebate. It gets lost or it have another stipulation that you have to post in the delivery along with it. What if you want to hold back what ever item it is you purchased and enjoy no receipt?

And yes, I really dislike those messages in rebate.
The rebate is supposed to draw in customers because of the lowered price. Most manufacturer offer it because they're hoping you forget roughly it so they can pocket the difference.

Yes, I absolutely gain pissed off by rebate. Most have special instructions you hold to follow to the letter if not you don't get your money. Plus you own to wait 6-8 weeks higher than that!
its an incentive to woo customers

Finance class FCF (free bread flow) problem?

Question:
a company is starting a business, capital expenditure of $5 million, inventories will rise by $500,000 and its accounts payable will rise by $200,000 at t = 0.
-MACRS
Depreciation
Year Rates
t=1 0.33
t=2 0.45
The investigational business is expected to have an financial life of four years. The business is expected to generate sale of $3 million at t = 1, $4 million at t = 2. Each year, operating costs excluding depreciation are expected to be 75% of sales.
-The company’s toll rate is 40%.
-The company’s weighted average cost of capital is 10%.
-The company is tremendously profitable, so any accounting losses on this project can be used to reduce the company’s overall tariff burden.

I need to find out what is FCF at t=2?

a. $1,110,000.
b. $1,050,000.
c. $740,000.
d. $1,500,000.

I newly need to be pointed contained by the right direction on solving this

thanx in advanced

Answer:
FCF = NOPLAT +/- Change surrounded by Working Cap - Capex

FCF(2) = (Revenues - Oper Expenses + Depreciation)(1-tax rate) + (tax rate * interest expense) + no change within WC - no capex
FCF = [$4m - (.75 * 4m)] (60%) = $600k + tax shelter for debt

Well, I did the problem rigt, but none of the answers fit what it should be. It have to be LESS than $1m because you already have $4m-$3m = $1m of pre-tax change flows in year 2. In writ for it to fall to $740k, you would enjoy to have a toll rate and debt tax shelter equal 26% (which it isn't). WACC of 10% is irrelevant (unless you could somehow support into what the debt expense is, but you can't with singular the singular number). WACC is used to discount the PV of FCF, not calculate FCF.

Question:

Answer:
The retail price of a 1964 Kennedy silver half is give or take a few $7 in brilliant uncirculated condition next to full luster, regardless of the mintmark(with or without a "D"). In circulated grades, it's valued at 7 to 8 times the facade, which is approximately $3.50 to $4. The coin has a silver fineness of 0.900.
I know 64 and earlier are real silver for dimes, is this true of partly dollars too?
Hmmm... well i know that it is worth at tiniest half a dollar. lol. sorry i couldn't relieve.
50 cents?.. that's all i'd settle up for it :P
$0.50 , it is very adjectives.
It depends on how many are out at hand in the world, and the condition of the one you enjoy. Go to the Reference Desk at your local public library, and ask them for a book on American coins. The book will give you values base on the condition of the coins.
It's worth around $5.00 dollars.
