Question:
hey, how do I know if a 1985 20-dollar bill is a fake? it say on it that it was printed by the "federal reserve dune of New York" but as far as I know only the federal federal reserve bank can print anything bigger than a $1 bill. can anyone verify that?
Answer:
The $20 bill wasn't printed by the FRB of NY, but by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing who also prints adjectives the other denominations paper money of the US. The words "Federal Reserve Bank of New York" together near the alphabet "B" are the Federal Reserve Bank Indicators denoting the issuing Federal Reserve Bank. There are currency 12 issuing FRBs with 12 different indicators. As for the authenticity of your $20 bill, try to locate the micro packages around President Jackson. Somewhere there... I don't enjoy the old series $20 near me now, but that's one of the protection features together with the watermark and silver thread inbuilt on the paper.
telephone call your local secret service, they can verify serial numbers on the bill.
Yes, your 20 dollar bill is pseudo. Our Constitution gave Congress, and simply Congress, the right to 'Print and Coin Money'. The Federal Reserve is a Private Company, run by a 'click' of people - plan it could be called 'Dollars-R-Us' if they want to. The Fed also operate on 'Fractional Reserve Lending', which means you must own an equal amount of Gold to back up the Currency you print/coin. Fort Knox hasn't be audited since the Eisenhower Administration, why do you think to be precise? To answer your question, YES, the serious newspaper currency in your foot is fake, as all right as all other "Federal Reserve Notes". And yes, the New York branch can print any currency it desires. The NY Branch is the most influential of all contained by the US. The Rothschild bank of London, surrounded by my opinion, is the 'big boy' of the bunch.

Prices for motor boot public sale?? Can anyone sustain??
Question:
I plan to do a car boot mart this sunday, it is the first one I have ever done & am unsure what to charge for secure items. I am not going to price anything up but I would like to own some idea surrounded by my head of what to charge. Is at hand anyone who has done a vehicle boot sale or basically anyone who has some belief what I could charge for the following items?
Dvd's
Cd's
Jeans
Womens tops
Mens tops
Psychology Books (university)
paperback books
shoes
curling tongs
Answer:
Well, you're not going to make your fortune. I'd sell'em on Ebay if they're within good condition.
However...
Dvd's - lb4
Cd's - lb2
Jeans - lb2
Womens tops lb2
Mens tops lb2
Psychology Books (university) lb1
paperback books 50p
shoes lb2
curling tongs lb3
CD's and DVDs tend to progress for around lb1+ a time. Paperbacks are in the 50p bracket other stuff could be transferable.
I've just done one - sturdy hard work!! Most of my books flew from the boxes for lb1 respectively (or 50p paperbacks) - clothes didn't sell at adjectives - even when offered at 20p per item. Tongs you'll probably get lb2ish - DVDs and CDs flog well for roughly speaking lb1 - lb3 each depending on what they are. Good luck.
abundantly of it depends on the condition and what other people around you are selling things for.
associates don't go to boot sale looking to spend much money and most people want you to grant them stuff for 10p.
i have done 2 within the last 6 months, disc and DVD wen't for between lb1 & lb3, vhs videos for 50p. some shirts for lb1.50.
we did govern to sell a few china items and some industrial books for more money a set of PC manuels for lb15 for example.
also remember that most people who progress to boot sales close to to bargain, so if you want lb1 for something as lb1.50 and consent to them haggle then you are both jubilant.
I won't advise you on prices but I would suggest that you follow the direction of the other persons answering for that.
I would however suggest that you do put prices on items. From my experience, you normally get individuals hounding you when you're setting up so you tend to get a bit flustered and influence any price for items without thinking. If everything is priced after at least you've get something to work with if race start haggling, which they will!
Also as one poster have suggested, eBay might be a good remedy for you as you can often produce more money and you've got a wider audience.
These articles are ample. Try to inform as many friends as you can to be successful Gooooooooood Luck
