Actually the dollar is not that weak. Back within the 60's the dollar was single exchanged at about $2.50 to the Pound, Harald Wilson have to devalue the Pound and then the exchange be $2.40 to the Pound. When the Pound was floated contained by the 70's it fell to $1.50 or there abouts to the Pound. so within reality the pound is still unsubstantiated and merely returning to its original place surrounded by the world markets that it have before. I supose that at one time here must have be $4 to the Pound as the 5 shilling was refered to as a dollar.
