Whats going on next to Mail-In Rebates?
Question:
Mail-In rebates own become a controversial topic. The New York Times recently reported that annual rebate complaints to the Better Business Bureau own increased nearly three-fold from 2001 to 2005 — from 964 to 2,715. Given the small stakes involved in masses rebate programs and the effort required to directory a formal complaint, it is reasonable to verbs that the actual number of consumers with rebate complaints is much high than these numbers suggest. I am doing a research paper that address this topic. Please help me by answering a few short question about your experience beside rebates. You can answer the question by clicking on the following link:

Thanks to adjectives that respond!
Answer:
I'm a rebate-barron. I know that companies automatically assume that some people won't do the rebate, and they factor that into the price they charge. Essentially, this technique that I can get great prices because idle people are subsidizing my purchase - and I'll other take authority of it.
However, I've noticed that some rebate companies reject my claim wrongly. I'm a greatly detailed and careful character. I do not make mistakes when I dispatch in rebate because of the hassle - yet the companies deny my claim anyway, so I enjoy to get on the phone and lurk sometimes as much as 1.5 hours to talk to somebody. That really pisses me rotten. Two recent examples:
ampd.com phone rebate
Cisco Systems VOIP device rebate
What where on earth the incurable mistakes of Arthur Andersen?
Question:
The Enron Account firm.
Answer:
He didn't lie capably enough and didn't hire a devout enough hit man.
Trying to cover up for Enron and not doing their work resourcefully. Auditors should report companies like Enron to the SEC beforehand the bubble bursts. As it turned out, Enron dragged AA down with them.
The chief reason given is the "greed" factor. No one requirements to lose a client, so often auditors merely ask questions but don't other research the answer the client gives them. The relationship between auditor and client is a tricky one.
Who is the client? The company or the shareholders?
In trueness it is the shareholders, but it is the company that pays the bills. So guess who the auditor caters to?
What is the difference between a million and a billion?
Question:
I once heard that if you stacked up dollar bills, a million would be so high-ranking and likewise if you stacked a billion it would be so soaring. Has anyone heard this ? Anyone know the answer?
Answer:
The apt news is that I know:
One million dollars surrounded by hundred dollar bills is 40 inches tall. One billion dollars within hundred dollar bills is one thousand times higher: 40,000 inches big (= 3333.3 feet = 0.63 miles). If you're a massochist, next you can have smaller bills (just multiply accordingly).
Here's the doomed to failure news. This factoid be found out by Rob Cockerman, through his outstanding website "Cockeyed.com". It's bad report because you are going to spend the next hour of your go reading hillarious things that he's done. Well... at least I laugh my butt off, but there's no accounting for my sense of humor.
http://cockeyed.com/inside/million/milli...
1 comma and three zero.
Either way you would'nt inevitability to work again...
The laws of physics explain this one best. The number of bills it would nick to stack up to one million wouldn't be nearly as high as the bills it would embezzle to reach one billion.
999,000,000.
the difference between a million and a billion is the number of zero's , and the number of commas. It also depends on if you are conversation about money for example here is what they both look resembling
1,000,000 (million) 1,000,000,000 ( billion) and no i havbe never heard of that statement
one million = one trophy wife + one girlfriend
one billion = one trophy wife and as masses girlfriends as your heart can take. lol
Lost!?

How would a poor inventor run around finding an investor to provide money needed for R&D and marketing?
Question:
I have two inventions right immediately that are ready to be developed. One is an advance of a product used in the food service industry. I would recommend going to the capitalist company which you think would benefit most from your inventions. After adjectives, they do have the money and the resources and they would gain the biggest authority if they think your inventions are worth something. Just produce sure you have adjectives the legal issues equipped and apply for a patent for your nickname because usually the big boys want a patent for their own. I don't ruminate just any investor would be THAT interested within a rouge invention because they wouldn't get that big of benefit (afterall, the rights would be on your name, not theirs). But big businesswoman companies would love to get their hand on the market appeal and profit generated by the finish off product, regardless of who the patent belongs to.
How do i go and get out of an ebay purchase?
Question:
Answer:
You can't if bid-ed on it and you won then you own to buy it. Or you could get sued
You don't.
here is a link to nullify your bid---if you can't find it then merely contact ebay via email and they shoudl help you
The merely way really is to ask the vendor to let you out of the mart. Ask as nicely as possible next to as good of an excuse as possible. If they articulate no, you can just debris to pay and will expected get unenthusiastic feedback - unless it's a large mart, and they want to come after you legally for the $$.
Communicate near your seller and apologize. I used to go and if someone decided they didn't want it I would in recent times email the next lower bidder for a Second Chance bid to complete the transaction. Don't shame the seller or you will carry negative feedback!!
You could contact the salesperson and ask them to let you out of the concordat. If you do this, then realize that they enjoy paid a bunch of fees to chronicle and sell the item. You could see if they would be predisposed to let you budge if you paid them the fees that they would be out of. You can shift to Ebay and figure out what the fees should be.
Other than that, nearby is not much you can do and stay a buyer in apposite standing with Ebay. You can say-so the item is not what was timetabled, but that still requires you to pay for it and afterwards receive it and then try to seize your money back. This tactic will probably result within you getting bad feedback.
First ya enjoy to burn your computer. Gas and a flame should do it but outside not inside. Then ya need to renovation haircolor, one of those new colors for kids would be great..purple, red, blue. The jus to net sure a move to France would prolly be a good model with a move to Iran a month following. After that ya may have to live within a cave for a lil while...3months or so should do it. The I'd say aloud your out of the auction and your free of responsibilities.
The best thing to do would be to contact the wholesaler and explain the situation.
Either that or hope that someone outbids you, but be prepared to pay anyways....
you could probably simply contact the seller and explain your basis for wanting to get out of the purchase. Assuming your idea is good and not pitiful.
But I can tell you, I, as a trader (for 3 yrs) would rather own to relist my item-even if it meant losing a dollar or so for encyclopaedia fees--and sell it to someone who requirements it, then to force a buyer who changed their mind and will probably lately leave glum feedback anyways.
Next time, be sure before you bid or buynow. I deduce you should ask yourself why you don't want it.
Did you find it somewhere else cheaper? If so, then to be exact a lousy reason for aid out because you should research prices BEFORE you buy.
Did you accidentally type in the wrong bid amount: for example $10.00 instead of $1.00?
Did you realize soon after you bought it that you own no way to wage for it? very irresponsible, but probably the seller will hold the item for you until your subsequent paycheck-I am always content to work with my buyers to assistance accomodate them.
Just think it over, and if you still opt you want to back out, ask first. Don't merely not pay. That is sooooo wrong. At smallest have the courage to apologize and/or ask for perception.
Good luck!
You can't If you dont pay next you will get a cynical feedback, also you can get a suspention consideration.
Get in touch beside the seller by pressing: ask retailer a
question in the order of this item. then narrate the seller the problem and he may relist it. and ask respectively other to leave positive
feedbacks to not hurt your ratings.

What materials be user to clear cars surrounded by 1923? this is for a academy project so please present legal sources!
Question:
Answer:
The “1923” touring car style be introduced in September 1922, near a one-man top and sloping windshield, but otherwise the body was indistinguishable as the 1922. The runabout followed about November, next to a new body and turtle deck as all right. A new “Fordor” sedan appeared surrounded by December 1922, which used aluminum panels throughout the body. The cowl portion and lower body section be changed to steel during the year. There was no cowl vent contained by the early Fordor sedans but the vent be added during early 1923, beforehand the change to the larger hood. The Coupelet and Sedan (Centerdoor) continued into 1923 beside minor modifications that were introduced contained by 1922, but were both replaced next to the new Coupe and Tudor Sedan surrounded by August 1923.
The front section of the coupé was revised roughly August 1923, with a tentative and higher radiator, larger hood, a valence underneath the radiator, and revised cowl section to contest. These cars were collectively referred to as “1924” models in Ford literature.
The Coupe and Tudor Sedan be all exotic, with coupe doors slit at the rear. Body construction continued near the metal panel over a wood frame design.
A new steering column support bracket connected the instrument panel to the column for added rigidity, apparently during latter 1923 (1924 models) production. All cars had an instrument panel near the ignition/light switch.

Imitation leather in the start cars. The pattern is a stitched vertical pleat design on both form bottoms and backs. Closed motor upholstery was brown cloth near a lined template.

DASHBOARD(Firewall): Wood, fitted outside the front cowl, unobserved by the metal cowl weather strip. In early 1923 a exotic metal firewall replaced the wood one for a short time (both types individual used for a time), then contained by August a new larger metal firewall be used to match the larger hood.
CHASSIS: Same as 1922. Painted black.
STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY: Pressed steel, black painted, quadrant, Zinc-plated spark and throttle lever, with flattened metal ends. Gear defence was brass but zinc-plated, one piece assembly. Wheel be 16” outside diameter, made of “Fordite” (synthetic material), and painted black. The wheel spider be pressed steel and painted black. Horn button was on the disappeared side of the column.
Used 30 by 3 tires in front; 30 by 3-1/2 contained by the rear. Front wheel used taper-roller (Timken) bearings except surrounded by the non-starter, non-demountable open cars. Hub cap were one and the same as the previous year. Demountable-rim wheels be standard on closed cars, and optional on the interested models; used 30 by 3-1/2 tires all around.
CARBURETORS: Kingston Model L4, Holley Model NH, or Ford F.
CARBURETOR STOVE ASSEMBLY: Sheet metal type which rose vertically at the backside of the carburetor and mated beside the exhaust manifold at the flipside corner, being held by the flipside manifold retaining stud/nut.

Another accounting query!?
Question:
The following information relates to the break-even point at MMM Corporation:
Sales dollars .......... $120,000
Total fixed expenses .. $30,000
Assume a tax rate of 20%, if MMM requests to generate an after tax income of $9,600, what will its sale dollars have to be?
Answer:
Firstly, target income after import tax is $9,600 so in writ to find out the income before toll we need to adjust the amount. The ax rate was 20% so...
$9,600/80 *100 will donate us the pre tax income
($9,600/80)*100 = $120 * 100 = $12,000
The following formula contribute us pre tax income
Pre Tax Income = Sales Dollars - Total Fixed Expenses
As we know what the Pre Tax Income and Total Fixed Expenses info are we need to rearrage the formula to find out what the Sales Dollars necessitate to be, the formula is adjusted to
Sales Dollars = Pre Tax Income + Total Fixed Expenses
Sales Dollars = $12,000 + $30,000
Sales Dollars = $42,000
Ok, it looks similar to the situation sorts out this way:
The first $30,000 go to expenses. That is all deductible, so nearby is no 20% to tax.
20% of the remainder go to tax, so
80% can be in motion to net income.
$9,600 / .8 = $12,000
append that to the $30,000, and you have $42,000 of sale to produce $9,600 of after tax income. To the point, that appears to be your break-even point. The rest is profit network of whatever excise rate you would need to use.
If you find nearby is more to the story, like a percentage to develop respectively sale, admin, handling, etc., you will unsurprisingly need to discount that percentage, also.
What is the difference between Economy and Finance ?
Question:
Answer:

SPREAD THE WORD. May 15 is national gas strike afternoon?
Question:
We need adjectives of your support. On my 15th, do NOT purchase any fuel. We have to pulsation the oil companies at their winter sport. If we don't buy gas, the price will drop 50 cents overnight. This was done formerly and thats exactly what happened. Average fuel across the country is $3.00 a gal. That is simply sickening. Please carpool, walk, ride you bicycles or work from home. Exxon made 60 billion dollar profit end year. If we continue to buy fuel, we'll build them have a 120 billion profit. After work, I'm going right to target to purchase a bicycle.
Answer:
Not buying gas for a light of day won't do anything to lower gas prices. You're not using less gas, you are only buying it at a different time. Insterad of buying gas on the 15th, you'll just buy it on the 14th or 16th. And even if you did gain enough ancestors to go along near this it still won't lower gas prices. All it would do is delay the profits of gas companies by a morning.
I think this would be great if adjectives of America would participate! I'm sure consequently it would make an impact.
This would not do any perfect. Not getting gas on one day would not affect anything.
honourable luck buddy, u and ur 5 friends can walk across the state but im drivin
There will other be a skeptic. Just don't get gas on the 15th. The strike is not on the 14th or the 16th or even the entire week of the 14th. Just 1 afternoon. Maybe it'll work and maybe it won't (again). If it does work you will be a cog of something great and if it doesn't then at lowest possible you still attempted something instead of just complaining!
Do you own a better suggestion to lower gas prices?
I want to catch contact info for nat. medium to dispatch press releases, etc. for my biz. What's the cheapest approach?
Question:
I don't have much money but reason our story/products would appeal to certain national publications. The publication websites don't provide specific e-mails, etc. for their writers, and I know "general" e-mails sent to an "info." or department address will probably be thrown contained by the trash. Is there a free or low-cost database i can access near contact info. for journalists at magazine, etc.?
Answer:
The cheapest way would be to telephone the papers and ask for the contact information of the editor you are interested in. Often, the Fourth Estate release the contact info of the editor - and then obtain a hold of that editor and let them know of your product.
Doing it yourself is other the cheapest way.
Or you can use a press release distribution service, which can be expensive if you want a national coverage. PR Newswire for example charges $125 for one metro open market (e.g. Metro DC which includes Baltimore and Northern Virginia) but charges as much as $650 for a nationwide release.
There are other ways to do a press release cheaply, and that is to say through the free release distribution services. However, "free" often money limited -- e.g. your release will lone get within G00GLE News for example but not distributed to the inbox of actual newspaper editors. Just hope that these editors use RSS feed from the newswire to get hold of your release. Some of these services include
