Whats the different between PROFIT AFTER TAX & OPERATING PROFIT AFTER TAX??

Question:
whats the different between PROFIT AFTER TAX & OPERATING PROFIT AFTER TAX?? what is this profit & operating profit in a harmonize sheet??

Answer:
Profit means everything. Operating profit simply includes the profits from the main row of business. For example, one-time charges would NOT be considered operating profit...like if you sold past its sell-by date a business line at a profit.

Example: Say Coca-Cola sell soda and makes $100 from doing that. Say they also supply their Sprite business to another company for $50...but Coca-Cola only compensated $30 to make the Sprite business. Therefore, they enjoy a profit of $100+20=120...but operating profit is only 100.

How can I compensate for my employer give or take a few my huge mistake?HELP!?

Question:
I work in a saloon company for a special brand and I really wanted to buy a motor for myself from a competitor. I talked to my checker but he refused to sign a "no objecton" reminder for me to buy the car.Without this communiqu¨¦ i can't buy it. (stupid law here as an exparte). So I made a "no objection" notification and forged my manager's signature. When I received the car,I tried to fur it but all the company know about it.I be nearly exposed to Jail, but the company gave me ultimate chance to step on since I\m an importnat asset to it on the condition to sell the vehicle. It was supposed that i enjoy a promotion for a new post, but immediately i screwed everything up.I'm back again to 0 and i quality bad because I lost my self respect and respect of my colleagues at work.I grain down I want to resign from the company but I guess I can't. I'm lost.hope someone can help me through an proposal.thanks

Answer:
I'm not sure what your motivation be to do what you did, but maybe the company that make the car you bought have a postion open for you. I can't picture working for a company that produced something that I wouldn't personally support so if I were you I'd look at what it is I do for a living and wonder if it's really what I want to do, and if my employer is really the employer I want to be working for.
The other way out is having a discusion near your manager nearly why it is he refused to sign the "no objection " directive in the first place (They wouldn't hold them if they weren't available to use right? What would it have taken for him/her to sign it?) and try to iron it out beside them, and how or what you could do to regain your "status" within th company. Going to your organizer and leveling with him/her may be your best choice if you are to stay with them. Admit your mistake (sure you probably have) and agree to them know you want to do what ever you can to regain thier confidence and reassure them it won't happen again.
Good Luck.
Where the heck do you live??
That's daft!
You buy the car you want.
They hold obviously kept you around, instead of firing you, because you are a big asset to the company. Yeah, you messed up and made a mistake, but you've be given a second chance. All you can do at this point, is try to hold your cranium up high at work. Work your tail rotten at work. Go the extra mile to help your coworkers out. Show everyone, including your regulator, that you appreciate a second chance. If you haven't already, I would apologize to the bureaucrat. It can't be easy, but you'll be glad you stuck it out. If you tried to confer on now, you couldn't carry a good mention from them for another job anyway. I'm sure once you prove yourself put a bet on to the company, you may even get another randomness at a promotion. Good luck.
Sell the car -- or garage it and return with another one to drive around. Don't risk jail (forgery charge) over a saloon. Apologize sincerely and repeatedly for your mistake and hang your commander low for a few weeks in front of the co-workers. It may be adjectives for show, but you don't need a forgery charge on your hand (vs. a corporation with legalized resources.)
Where do you live that your boss can dictate where you should buy a vehicle from?

Why do gas prices spike during summer months and on holidays?

Question:
I find it ironic that we have be "convinced" to accept that prices of gasoline will spike during summer and holiday season because "the demand is higher". Grocery costs don't rise during holidays and summer time even though the emergency spikes. If they did, people would buy smaller number, however with gasoline, one cannot not buy, as we enjoy to use our cars for everything. The question is, "are petroleum companies a monopoly"?

Answer:
Because more citizens drive during those times and oil companies and politicans are greedy.
I don't ponder we drive anymore in the summer than winter, it make no sense to me
they are making record breaking profits at our expense. They vote its because demand is at story highs but we should look at their profit border. the percent profit they are making is probably at an all time glorious and that should be addressed. Americans hold come to accept so much within recent years. Things we should be protesting, things that would have be considered intolerable 20 years ago. I think petrol companies are a monopoly of sorts. they provide a necessity a short time ago like vitality companies and hospitals. I am ticked off at the justification the conservative republicans use to defend grease companies against allegations of profiteering. They say it is not regional and i.e. why it is legal. That if it be some small area hit by a hurricane it would be bent but because it is nation wide later its ok. Stupid is more like it. But so various americans buy that answer. I dont buy it and I know we are so being screwed. Our parliament could control this, they could prosecute the CEO's, regulate prices or even better regulate their record breaking profits that they are so proud of. That is our money they are bragging almost. Its hurting every other business as well as the citizens. In short, we are anyone screwed and just lay there and taking it.

Have we adjectives forgotten that the major airlines be prosecuted for price fixing years ago. They all arranged to raise their prices and gross a butt load of money and they get busted for it. They were not monopolies but they be price gouging a necessity.
A monopoly would be if in that was with the sole purpose one gas company that you could buy from and no other choices. At least we still hold choices between high, high, and highest.

There are more populace traveling/vacationing during the summer months. A great deal of the traveling crowd are childlike families near children who are only off-school during the summer. The gas companies nick advantage of this by charging us more during the months most traveled.

My friend newly dropped by in her brand-new motor home....on her bearing from Yuma to Seattle. Coming up the pass (steep climb) she get 2-3 miles per gallon....which is why she came up uninhabited and filled up at the top of the mound. She will be a major consumer this season!

Obviously pricing depends on attainment costs. Since you don't see one gas station charging $.50 less per gallon, you know they are adjectives buying at about duplicate price.

The oil companies stick it to you. And any event, such as a diluted rig in the Gulf, is an excuse to charge more to the retailer, which pass on to us. Doesn't matter that within was adequate stored oil to return with us through.

The only opening to free ourselves from the greedy oil magnate is to reduce comsumption significantly and find alternative fuels.
According to the report, oil costs more to refine surrounded by the summer months...
The problem is that the oil companies KNOW that we will travel at these times- summer because most of us use this time for our vacation and holidays, well because they are times within which families meet together. We will travel during these times. They know it, they do too. This way they can royal mess next to us, we know they are messing with us but we don't watchfulness; we are visiting family connections or are on vacation. The single thing I can infer of doing is trying to set up a period of time, surrounded by which we do not purchase gas. Say your town or city decides for one full week you won't purchase gas at your local gas stations. Since it hurts their pocket books, they would lower prices. Keep doing this until prices are where on earth we want them. However, it needs to be done across the country, same week. That is where on earth the trouble comes in; trying to attain everyone to do this at the same time. Logistical nightmare up the wazoo.
