I'm hoping someone can offer me some proposal. I would like to buy mobile phones from a wolesaler and put on the market them on ebay but they have said that I obligation to be VAT registered to buy from them. What does this mean?
Can anyone relay me how I can become VAT registered and how much it will cost? I am just starting out and don't hold enough money for an accountant so would similar to t do everything myself. I have deeply of spare time so I don't mind learning myself but really haven't get a large budget to spend. I haven't made any money but because I can't buy the phones without registering.

try looking on the hrmc website... it tells you everything you involve on there but from what I remember you hold to be registered self employed to complete a self-assesment form and pay National Insurance but with the sole purpose registered for VAT if you're earning or expecting to earn over 60000 pounds a year

i find their story particularly hard to believe! Did they discharge for postal insurance? If not, I can't see how you should have to compensate for a replacement.
I cant see how it is your responsibility to replace an item damaged within transit. But just to be on the not dangerous side, make sure you donate it to item descriptions if you dont already.
if the buyer did not purchase insurance for shipping then you are not liable. at lowest possible to my knowledge this is correct. purely email them and tell them that you are sorry almost this however sellers should other buy insurance for shipping so there are never any problems. narrate them that you hope they will not have a problem similar to this one in the adjectives and to remember to always use insurance. they should figure out :)

You shouldn't own any trouble and hopefully the buyer wont leave cynical feedback.
