It's supposed to be good for 6 months from the date on the check. Although I enjoy seen checks cashed several years from the date. I would check near the person who wrote the check to formulate sure they did not forget about it. You don't want it to overdraw thier story. Just explain that you just found it & is it still ok to lolly.
It is really up to the originator's bank. You should check near the person who originally wrote the check--they may enjoy placed a stop payment on the check since it have not cleared their account. If they hold funds availiable and there is no expiration on the check (should not be since it is from a personal account) later there should not be any problems on that side. Also, you may only check with a bank clerk at your bank to ensure they will adopt the check.
If their's no expiration date on the check itself, it should be good forever, at most minuscule at the bank where on earth the check is drawn. Very possibly yes and so far you hold a good attempt at hype. Now try making up fliers or card and put them on the bulletin boards at stores churches an the library in that nouns code. You might get lucky. I did when I be your age.

I put together a blog for my friends (I figure I'd share it since I craving someone had put this together for me) and I nominated the sites that didn't require me to go through page of ads and that in fact pay out bread and not points or entries into a sweepstakes.
I'd say that realistically if you spend just about 2-3 hours a day and complete the surveys and offer for about 5-10 sites or even newly to refer your friends that are tight on money now and afterwards, you can average about $150- $250 a week. If you want to check it out my blog its:
