Why doesn't Costco help yourself to Visa or Mastercard?

Question:

Answers:
Retailers have to salary what is called a discount rate to the credit card processors. This rate can be as big as 4% in some cases. Since Costco and Sam's Club trade items at deep discounts, they simply do not want to settle the credit card companies a percent of the purchase price. This makes the items cheaper across the board since they are not paying a percent of sale to the credit card companies. They could pass on the discount rate to those that use credit cards, but that probably wouldn't progress over to well.

This is why when you step to Target, Old Navy, and many specialty retailers they bombard you beside 10% off offer if you get a store credit card. When you use a store credit card, the company does not earnings a discount rate. This is the same beside Costco and Sam's. Costco has its own card through American Express and Sam's through Discover. When you use those cards, they do not salary the discount rate.
A lot of discount stores do not take credit cards because the credit card company charges them 3%-4% on every transaction they do.
Costco have a business agreement with American Express, that`s why they only pocket American Express. Similiar to Sam's Club agreement with Discover card.
Why don't you contact costco and consent to them know about how they lost your business due to not taking your card, or simply agree to them know that they are the only store carrying what you be looking for and you were not competent to make the purchase because of their policies.

What are "Accounting/ERP Systems"?

Question:

Answers:
Many companies greatly rely on computers and software to provide accurate information to effectively manage their business. It is becoming increasingly crucial for all businesses to incorporate information technology solutions to operate successfully. One agency that many corporations hold adopted information technology on a voluminous scale is by installing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to accomplish their business transaction and background processing needs.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are software packages that use relational database technology to integrate diverse units of an organization's information
system. ERP systems provide several separate, but integrated modules, which can be installed as a carton for any organization (Scapens and Jazayeri 1998). Many huge
corporations use several different and separate information systems, often because they hold merged with and/or acquire other companies with diverse systems. An ERP system integrates these separate information systems and results in better data reliability and processing efficacy. ERP systems quickly become popular with substantial corporations that needed a seamless integration of their business, but are now frequently used by small to mid-sized companies. The excellent power of ERP systems to simplify business transaction processing, eliminate work that add little or no value, and simultaneously develop customer service are the main reason for the outstanding success and popularity of these systems (Gibbs 1997).

Can you find a shipping confirmation number?

Question:
I shipped an item 2 weeks ago to someone that won it on ebay. I didn't ask for a confirmation number because I've never had a problem and thought it cost more (which I didn't move out as an option for them to buy). Anyways, I sent around 5 items to different people at equal time and 1 person told me they hadn't gotten it but and asked for the confirmation number. Is there anyway to bring back it if I didn't ask for it? I have no opinion whether to know they just want their money rear or not, I never got it returned put money on to me either. Any warning?

Answers:
i would see if the buyer has any cynical feedback from ebay or any other buyer. then i would check beside what ever shipping company you used and see if they have confinement confirmation of any sort. I know when I use USPS even is I dont get shipping confirmation depending on the size of the box they will either own the person progress to the post office to pick up the packet or leave a slip recounting them they have a collection. so i would do that. then if it comes rear legs that they did deliver it i would ask them for the date, time, etc.. of when the package be delievered and/or (i would do both) a package slip be left at the residence.
after you do that and if you find out that any they have it or they dont enjoy it then you can rob action from nearby

hope it helps. well-mannered luck
It depends on how you shipped it.
If you used paypal to ship, it would have generate one.
Or if you used UPS, or delivery confirmation.
If it be just sent regular postal letters you would have needed to ask for the extra service.
Always ship Fedx, DHL or UPS to carry a confirmation number and file it next to each Ebay sale sheet in the adjectives. The post office charges for this service while the professionals above include it contained by their price.which usually includes some free insurance.

Since I don't know how you shipped it, I would try to contact the shipper for the tracking number. Generally they will send it spinal column to you if they can not deliver it, which may take over one week.

If you go to UPS, they give you a bill with the tracking number that you can lately type into their web site.
Call the shipping company that you used. The # is probably on the recipt, you of late don't know it. It's probably integrated in the #'s on the recipt. Hopefully you didn't throw it out.
I deem if you refer to it as a tracking #, you'll have better luck too.
Hope this help, good luck!

"It is time for total truth between us." Can you REALLY sort money doing MLM (Multi smooth marketing)?

Question:
And yes, by MLM I am talking just about Amway/Quixtar, Ditto-Delivery, Britt World Wide. Through my own research, I've concluded that the answer is a qualified "no." Selling the products and being path down in someone else's branch, no. If you're ready to sell the dream to everyone you see and bring back them in your downline, later maybe yes. What do you believe?

Answers:
NO
only fi you started it and you're the top soul. other then that. NO!
whether you opt for http://www.quixtar.com and http://www.bww.com combination or not I do not vigilance but down the line you are selling/marketing your self full life human being way down within someone's branch.
If you are in a assignment in a company you are selling your time for a pay way down contained by BOSS's branch or heirarchy in that company and you are contained by a branch way down.
If you own your own business after also you are trading/selling products or services for money then also you are indirectly/directly self way down within someone's branch.
In your own business you have a staff [its approaching a downline of AMWAY business] and your staff is working for your dream as you are selling your dream. If you have business later you have staff and if you own a job next you have junior under you who are similar to your downline who are fulfilling your and their dreams collectively like their within AMWAY.
Think it with break open mind and your research was partially and before conclusion reflect it with amenable mind and then own full conclusion.
Yes, you can. Why do I say that, because it have been done since.
Is it easy? No.
Do seriously of people earn money surrounded by mlm? No.
Over 99% don't make any money surrounded by mlm.

But all contained by all, mlm is mostly a scam, albeit a legitimate one.
Every business is a form of MLM! The boss makes more money, the more team he has to bring profit, the more ancestors he can hire. The more he hires, the more he makes. The lower you are the smaller number money you make! Isn't this true of every business? hhhmmmmmmmmmmm So why be afraid of something "labeled" MLM. Everything from pamper chef, to Mary Kay, Tupperware, Watkins---these are all home base companies, all of which are MLM's. And yes we see ancestors making money in them---ever see a Mary Kay cadillac??

***What business should I undo. Very clear minded Question.***?

Question:
Hi there! I am going to overt up a business. I was article starting a nice restaurant, but that is for a while edgy in my mind. I want to know what the best instrument to make money starting a business, next to a natural guarantee to net at least 2 million per year.

Maybe it's a secure type of restaurant.

Maybe it's something typical or not so typical.

It's up to you, but please do not respond with volatile answers. Please have experiences or pleasurable knowledge.

I would approaching an answer more than... Chinese restaurant. I would appreciate answers behind it and reference if possible.

Even a position near 5 yrs. of college that makes at least possible 1 million a year.

Also I would appreciate contact information, email, so I can chat with you if I close to your answer and want to pursue it more in depth.

Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it!

Derek Logan

Answers:
Hi Derek

I reckon you know you're dreaming to be expecting a guarantee of making a couple million a year from a business, unless you buy an already-existing business with a strong track transcription of making that much or more, and keep like people on staff who are currently running it so that the transmutation in ownership is transparent to the customers.

Do some math. To produce $2 million a year from a restaurant, you'd have to serve over 1000 customers respectively and every day AND product an average of $5 profit from each of them - not a tangible easy hope to meet!

And newly out of college, making a million a year salary is dreaming also. There are some job where you might know how to get a six-figure income to start, but most college grads would start economically below six figures, tolerate alone $1 million.
do it yourself businesses take stale really well. Something similar to a business where family are able to product their own thing to appropriate home (like paint your own pottery)... i would stay away from restaurants becuase they can go down really promptly and there's no way you're going to fashion millions unless you're in fresh york city or something
As an accountant who has worked his process through school doing bookkeeping for small businesses:

Restaurants suck, unless you really love the place you embark on and work A LOT.

In general restaurants own poor profit margins, as most small businesses with low barrier to entry do.

In marketing/business terms a "wall to entry" is used to describe how hard it is for someone to enter a constant type of business.

Examples of high barrier to entry:
accountants, one has a large barrier to entry because it requires 5+ years of institution, 150 credit hours, and passing the CPA exam.
computer chip industrial: takes a billion dollars to build a factory. There is no such point as a ma and pa chip manufacturing plant.

Examples of low barrier to entry:
Massage therapy. You can bear some classes and get a credentials if you want, but don't really need that to start calling yourself a "message therapist".
Restaurants, you involve some capital within terms of buying table, kitchen equipment, and getting permits, but anybody beside a menu idea or two can do it.

Things that are effortless to get into hold a LOT of competition. Things that are hard to procure into don't.

I am NOT knocking restaurants. I am simply offering a authentic view of the business. If you are upright at it, you CAN be sucessful.

If you want a "natural guarantee" to breed $2M+ per year, you will not find one. If there be such a thing, everybody would do so. Best bet to in truth get that is to say to get a CEO charge for a mid- to large sized company, possibly a CFO slot as in good health. Such things generally require some nurture and certainly experience surrounded by the business.

Small business opportunities abound though, adjectives it takes is seeing an opportunity that others are missing, or offering a high-ranking demand skill or service.

It have been said, within humor, that the best way to label money in small business is to write a book in the region of how to make money as a small business.

Personally:
Accounting is a well brought-up way to turn. You will NEVER be unemployed, and you can work anywhere, for any size company that does anything. Even if you don't want to work for a company or hulking CPA firm, you can always do bookkeeping and set up your own firm.

But accounting is not for everybody, and take some college to get to.
Are you set on a restaurant? Very few restaurants spawn much of a profit, and many stir out of business within the first year. My cousin owns a smoke shop/bar contained by California and he does ok, but I'm not sure he does well plenty to really make it worth it. Night clubs are impossible to tell apart way, it really is a roll of the dice. If you really are interested surrounded by money, go into genuine estate. That's unless you're a famous athlete or musician. Alice Cooper have a popular restaurant in Phoenix and he's with the sole purpose there occasionally.

Looking for the efficacy of a coin - George IV SV D.G. BRITT OMN. REX F.D. IND IMP 1919?

Question:

Answers:
First, it should be George V, not George IV.
Second, all denominations of British coins bore that same inscription, and you grant us no clue what you have. It could be anything from a farthing (copper coin give or take a few the size of a US cent) to a sovereign (a 22K gold coin weigh just beneath a quarter ounce). We need more info, please.

Here is a breakneck tutorial on how to ask questions resembling this:
1) Include a full description of both sides of the coin. You only described one side. For example, "Seated Brittannia next to shield" and "ONE PENNY" would have be all we needed.
2) What metal is it made of - Copper? Bronze? Nickel? Silver?
3) How big is the coin? Diameter contained by millimeters is best here.
4) Is the edge smooth? Reeded? Lettered?
5) How much wear does it hold? Condition is everything on rarer coins.

I hope this helps you for subsequent time.
The legend is suppose to read "GEORGIVS V D.G. BRITT: OMN: REX F.D. IND: IMP:", which routine "George V by the Grace of God, King of Britain, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India". But without the coin's denomination I'm afraid I won't know how to give you an accurate valuation. What is on the other side of the coin? Does it enjoy a "3" on it, the word "farthing", "one penny" or "half penny"? If so, next you have a coin from Great Britain, else it's from Australia. Minimum helpfulness for the Great Britain pieces is about US$0.50 to $1 respectively in below average circulated echelon, the kind of condition you would typically find for early George V issues. The Australian pieces are worth anywhere from $0.25 to $10 contained by the same status depending on the denomination.
