I'm selling my wedding rings... I freshly had them cleaned up and appriased by a jeweler. He told me not to market them to a jeweler or one of those crappy "we buy jewelery" places because they would rip me off. He said my best bet is to flog them on my own.
I guess my only legitimate option is ebay man that nobody reads the tabloid. I have singular used ebay about 12 times since I signed up surrounded by 2001 so my score is 12. (question 1) Will that deter somebody from buying from me? The rings are worth $15K and I'm hoping to return with at least $10K.
(question 2) Other than taking my likelihood with ebay, does anyone know of a better opening for me to get the most possible money and carefully?

Actually, you might be surprised who read the paper. I sold my saloon in 1day after book it in the classifieds.
I you supply on ebay you can always choose to select a minimu price that have to be met before the Dutch auction is final - but you have to discharge more for the listing.
Craigslist is also an alternative - it works sort of like an internet classified.
Warning - wholesale price of a diamond set is merely around 10% or so of the retail price, so you might not have a genuine good luck of getting the $10K that you want.
And if you do sell on ebay, be VERY wary not to get scammed.

if you want to sell on ebay its not approaching you will loose money, all you hold to do is put a resreve on the rings at the rock bottom price you will accept, if not a soul reaches your reserve later there is no Dutch auction. other than that flog in your local papaer and surrounding papers.

You aren't going to get 10K for the rings. Ebay might work, but spawn sure you get the buyer to use paypal or a money direct. Don't accept a check.
You if truth be told might try the newspaper or Craigslist, but you are really going to own to revise the price. I would think you would be lucky to achieve 3-5k. I am not trying to be rude, it's just that the diamond bazaar is saturated and most citizens don't want to buy used rings.

In America you own to be 18 to serve alcohol in a restaurant -Waiter/Waitress You own to be 21 to pour/create- Bartend. I believe barbacks (those who do grunt work for Bartenders) can usually be 18.
So at 14 you would have to any be a waiter and have somebody else deliver your drinks to your table or look into another area- such as hosting/ bussing tables/ etc... It's still good training for when you come of age.

I work surrounded by a supermarket, I'm 17 and I'm not allowed to supply alcohol on my own. Probably the same contained by a bar but we operate a strict policy on underage drinking. Though, it is thoroughly unlikely that you can serve/sell alcohol and if an undercover police officer buys from you (and they do), the bar might lose it's license (it's call "on license" because the alcohol can be consumed on the premises) and you might face a fine of 80 pounds on scene and 5000 after appearing at Magistrates' Court.
