They hire teen "pages" to shelve books, fill the copiers and printers, etc. Also, if your local academy district has a summer program, they might entail some young assistants. Again, 13 is really babyish and I don't know the laws roughly speaking working papers. School guidance counselors usually have honest info about this sort of piece.
