I'm looking to start a business and was hoping for some insight. With software tools similar to TurboTax, Taxcut, Quickbooks and all that, what other helpfulness and benefits can be derived from hiring a qualified CPA outside of doing my taxes and monthly bookkeeping? Thank you.

There are 2 things that a CPA can do for you that no other professional (or software) can.
1) In the event of an IRS Audit, only a JD (lawer), and EA (Enrolled Agent) or a CPA can represent you earlier the IRS. Other than those, you're against the IRS yourself! However, the CPA probably knows the accounting (along w/ the tax) implication better than any of those 3.
2) The CPA is the only one who can sign (attest) to audited financial statements. Basically, they REALLY know accounting!

I own tried some and they seemed to be a scam single wanting me to sign up for things like unlimited cd's ect. I hold however taken surveys through a company called Opinions Center... i'm not sure if they are worldwide (the one I turn through is in Ohio) but G00GLE them or even try to find a number for them and see if they are close by you. I am sure they enjoy these sorts of things everywhere in the US. What I do and my mother does them ALL the tim eis if you qualify for a indisputable survey they call y ou bestow you a time if you can make it and show up and its something like an hour if that long survey or sometimes you have to view a movie or taste question paper a food and they pay you anywhere from $50-$125. SOmetimes the classes completion up being overbooked and they will pick solid people to basically leave and you still carry the money even though you dont attend. Try that and good luck!!

Never clear an up front fee. If a site be doing really well, they wouldn't call for to charge you.

Leisters Furniture would similar to people who recieve these checks to ring up them so they can include it in their police reports. IT IS A SCAM. Walmart and adjectives the other businesses have no affiliation near these people. HR policies can be found on some company websites but the information is immensely basic. The best source of information can be acquire by looking at academic research and trade grouping publications. If I was you I would look at business associations within the country you reside and I would use G00GLE Scholar for information if you don't have access to pedantic research at university or school.
Do some G00GLE search on "whitepaper" and "HR policy". Whitepapers are published by consulting firms and academics. They are approaching essays that discuss current trends, issues in the industry, etc. You aren't going to bring your hands on lots actual policies unfortunately. Besides, in that are hundreds of things that policies cover. One of my clients has over 35 policies only in their HR department. Here's a fast list past its sell-by date the top of my head:
