How can I find my sort number?

I want to set up a direct debit from a Lloyds TSB account to a britannia tale. I went to Lloyds and they told me that I needed to know my sort number for my britannia story. Where do I find that out from, it's not on my bank statements... Help?! Thanks =)

i am advertising 2 items on gumtree totalling lb400,have a email from lady ,but she is within paris and said will get a friend to convey me a cheque for lb1,500.and i am to pay this into my story and pay the remaining money to her via weston federation then a courier will collect items and catch them to her.she wants my address and mobile number.

Yes this is a scam, we have tried to put up for sale a few things on a online website that was advertise on our local radio station, first couple of days were okay next after that we had a few e-mails from different people claiming they have a client abroad somewhere and they be going to send a cheque for more than the price of the item. We would after cash the cheque transport the money back via Western Union Transfer later the shipping agent would come and collect the item. We then e-mailed the site admin explaining what have happened, they afterwards replied and said that it was a scam. The cheques are in general stolen, written for an extortionate amount, sent to the seller, wholesaler cashes the cheque, sends the remaining money (value of cheque minus item price) back to buyer, few weeks then when the clearing of the cheque through the bank is done you will be out of pocket for the remaining importance of the cheque and item plus to top it off you may be arrested!! All you own to do is either block the address or only just ignore them.
