First thank them for the opportunity, say how pleased you are to be invited, enlighten them what a great opportunity the RFP is and then state your root as to why your company did not want to participate (capacity = short concentration, etc.) Also let them know if you want to be invited to adjectives RFP's.

Buyers appreciate companies that are honest about their capability. If the scale be too large - enlighten them, you might qualify for something smaller in the adjectives.

Should I change a check for her?

So today she asked me to brass a $800 personal check from a relative for her so she can put a deposit down on a new apartment. I enjoy known her for a couple years in a minute but something about this of late doesn't seem right. Anybody hold some advice on how to fiddle with this situation?

HAve her go to a check cashing place that charges similar to 1 to 3%. Offer to front her the charge ($8 to $24) and never expect to see the money.

I know that to achieve a 40% profit outside edge, you multiple the cost of goods by 1.67 BUT how do you return with the 1.67 number?

Using a decimal as percent (ie, 40% = .40), divide the cost of the item by (1-desired gross profit %). So if an item cost you $10, 10/(1-.4) = $16.67 retail price to get a 40% gross profit fringe.
Not sure what you mean by multiplying 1.67 but look at my example below, conceivably it will help.

If you know your cost, later you can find the price you must charge by multiplying the cost by 1 plus the percent of profit you want. Using an example:

Cost = $60
Profit Margin = 40%

60 * 1.40 = 84

For 48%, it would be
60 * 1.48 = 88.80

I enjoy an MBA in International Business. I worked and studied within Spain as well.

The scope helped me gain an international perspective and upgrade my Spanish(many classes were surrounded by Spanish). The best part be meeting international students and working next to them on projects. Practical knowledge included Finance and Accounting and analysis. Also partnership was emphasize.


The MBA workload was give or take a few the same as other MBA programs. There be much studying, including Finance, Economics and Statistics. Some courses were demanding but most students did fine. I terminated up as a Design Engineer in Telecom. My income is good. I studied more after to do this work. I ruminate the degree is a launching point to start your occupation. The job you go and get when you graduate will depend on your internship, experience and interest. You may need to do on the chore training after you graduate.

And later, when they finally do put you through, the person on the other completion has not be given any information about you by the receptionist, AKA Gatekeeper?
Conversely, enjoy you ever been a CEO, President, VP, or higher-up who have had one of these types of receptionists?

And how do you agreement with such Gatekeepers?

Wow! As a former doorkeeper, I can answer this, sort of.

As an assistant for a high-level manager, my opportunity was to give support to keep the nouns manageable for him. So I would peak. I'd ask lots of questions. My key reason for doing so be to determine the relevancy of the call. If I could put together the decision - I would. If my boss needed to do so, I'd take as much information as I could, and pass adjectives the relevant details on to him to make a decree. (He was incredibly busy and commonly worked 15 hour days. Anything I could do to assist, I did). If I knew that your phone up needed to go somewhere else, I would distribute that information to the correct department.

I never, however, "cold-transferred" calls. If I go through all the trouble to ask you adjectives those questions, I would announce your beckon to whoever I was transferring the bid to, so they were aware of why you be calling.

I wouldn't voice it with an attitude, but only so that she knows its not her business. What get me though, is that she isn't telling the personage on the other line almost it?? I've been a receptionist and the judgment we ask a few questions is to inform the person you're calling, so that they can fixed to take it or transport you to voice mail... enormously odd. I wonder if you stopped describing her why you were calling if you would move about to voicemail from now on?




Lawn Mowing and Car Service..Help!?

My brothers (who are teens) are trying to have a prairie mowing and car service where on earth they mow lawns, they plant, garden, wash the driveway, bath the car, window, and the interior of the car. First of adjectives I think that's profoundly of work but they have a couple of question:

Charging is entirely dependent upon the details of what services they provide. For example mowing a 1/4 acre lot is going to be like mad cheaper than mowing a 2 acre lot that also requires bush pruning and mulching around trees etc.

My brother had a pasture care service and charged $40 to do everything (trimming bushes, edging and mowing grass etc.) for a 1/2 acre lot within Charleston SC. If you're doing it in Beverly Hills the price will be profusely different.

The key is to check out some prices from the "professional" services that feel similar tasks and price per service. A "full" lawn undertaking will be X dollars for Y size of yard. Base that price on how long it will pinch to do the work and how much they want to earn per hour of their work. Edging and tree trimming, planting etc. should all be priced properly based on how much time respectively task take.

The same thing can be done for vehicle washing. X for a standard external wash of a car and X+10 for a environment sized SUV and X+15 or 20 for a large SUV. Detailing inside and special treatment (waxing, doing tires next to special spray etc.) is all extra base on material costs (for sprays and soaps etc.) and time it take to accomplish the task.

In illustrious school I charged a minimum of $20 per vehicle but that was full detailing and be 20 years ago almost. You could probably charge that for a standard wash and dry currently.
