ONLINE classes are beneficial, especially to those of us who are serving our country. It enables us to still serve, and further our lessons at the same time.
I may be biased since i get my degree contained by psychology from Penn state, but i find those online courses to be worthless. Unless the classes were taken online from a university that in fact has a campus close to Harvard or a state school, the scope is worthless. I support the co-worker that got their level from a real academy.
I would argue that the experiences are different, but the credentials are the same.

An online fully fledged studies program is also a "college experience" albeit of a different color. Students are typically experienced in work energy, family enthusiasm and bring more real-world to the academic world.
So they are different, but one is not necessarily better than the other.
The on-line scope has fundamentally limited accreditation, so it is shoddier a normal college or university. I would whip the "in person" point every time when hiring someone.
