I am a manager for a company here surrounded by Wisconsin. The company decided that they be going to complete payroll procedures two days BEFORE the end of the compensate period. Essentially what they want us to do is guess how long our team will work, fill within their timecards, and then steep in the timesheet beside those hours. This will all go off before the team even work those shifts...
I am concerned that this is illegal, but I am have a hard time finding info on the internet directly related to timecard fraud, etc. Can anyone confirm my thoughts that this type of buzz is against the law? If so, can you supply supporting documentation through a website?

Its not really prohibited and the company is only doing this to ensure payroll is processed and you enjoy your check on time. Be sure to preserve a copy of your timecard and also keep a copy of your actual time worked on those two days. If you be over the 8 hours, inform HR so you can get compensated for that. Because that indeed is informal if they don't pay you for what you work. Again, if you work smaller amount, then you will be deduct. As an employer, we do this on Thursday so that they can get salaried on Friday. I always minute the time they clock out because if they worked more, I compensate that amount of time on the next pay cheque check and if they worked a great deal smaller amount, then I discount it on the next paycheck. Again, the just thing that would be unjust is if they don't pay you for what you work. Good Luck
As a bureaucrat you should already know that this is just a path for the company to cut corners and not pay the workers correctly. Not to mention it is a federal offense to do so. I would look in to the directive a little more and give an account them that they could get surrounded by real trouble for doing so.
This is a adjectives practice and not illegal within any way. If you guess the hours and after they are overpaid, I'm sure their next paycheck would be docked appropriately. Same as if they are underpaid, the next paycheck would reimburse the difference. It is company nouns whether they choose to use such payroll activities.

I love my job but my supervisor is a childhood friend and she is harder than hell to work for. She constantly cuts me down and make jokes at my expense. I think she is afraid of you taking attention away from her. She probably will never promote you because she is afraid of you in reality doing better than her. My suggestion is talk to someone above her for a promotion or simply find another work. Have you considered expressing your concerns with her?? It could certainly solve your problems.
I think you should arrange some sort of assignation with her one-on-one to discuss your emotional state. Make sure to tell her how you discern about the situation and that you don't touch it's her right to treat you diffrently on the strength that she knew you prior to her hiring you. Remember to hold your professionalism throughout the entire conversation and don't give contained by to her sense of humor, as she is apparently under the print that the base of your relationship next to one another is more personal rather than professional.
