Does bookkeeping count as experience for accounting?

Question:
I just get a job as a bookkeeper for a small company. I am going to university to get a point in accounting, i be wondering does this count as experience for accounting. Someone told me that this bookkeeping can get me a well-mannered job after i graduate and i can receive good money next to it. Will this job really oblige me in landing suitable job after i procure a degree? Any personal experiences?

Answers:
Yes and no.

If you are conversation about broad accounting experience, then yes -- this will go and get you client-side accounting experience. Of course, the value of this experience depends on the type of "book keeping" that you do. Some bookeeping is basically cross-referencing invoices, typing in entries into a nonspecific ledger and other very chief accounting administration. This can be fairly mechanical. Other times, a bookeeper can hold larger responsibility - especially in organization with simply a few people within it - to act more close to a controller. In these cases, you can have the responsibility and flexibility to thieve on bigger roles like setting up internal controls, knowing the different FASBs to do correct magazine entries, closing out the books and treasury organization. As a fresh green hire, you're probably doing the former... but not too worry. This may be a flawless place to start. Check the size of the company, find out the turnover (you want turnover to be high ample so that you have a kismet of moving up, but not too high to demonstrate that general public hate the job) and qualifications to take on latest responsibilities. If your job have those characteristics - great. If not, well, at least possible it's a job for you to gain experience past getting a new one.

If you are conversation about experience that counts toward earn your CPA --- then, no. You have need of AUDIT hours to earn your CPA.
http://www.aicpa.org/becoming+a+cpa/cpa+...
It depends. Many people use the word bookkeeping losely. In other words, what exactly are you doing? Are you doing bulletin entries? Then yes, it will help beside accounting. Or are you just doing plain bureau stuff. That will not help. Try to do actual review entries or financial reporting. Those things will help.
nope. sorry.

How the standard of stock import within US within monitored and controlled ?

Question:
This is a repeat question.

In the neutral of recent quality problems of point in the import items from China viz. Melamine in pet foods, Glycol within toothpaste and Lead in toys' paint, I am curious to know the part control system in place to ensure that import goods are similar within quality to domestically produced commodities which are under greater supervision. If some one want to bring up any other related topic also, most reaction.

Answers:
The answer to your questions depends on what products are one imported. If food or animal nurture related it is under the jurisdiction of the FDA, toys are beneath the CPSC, and still others are subject to the USDA...

In general, import products must comply with adjectives applicable US laws, substance the melamine problem NEVER should have happen. In reality the FDA and US Customs hold to examine shipments based on risk. To examine adjectives of the shipments headed for the USA would make smaller international business to a crawl, and in trueness is all but impossible.

That anyone said, it was released contained by some of the business news two weeks ago that some US manufacturer were also using melamine to artifically increase the notrogen counts contained by some products. The purpose of adding the melamine be to increase the nitrogen count, which makes the products appear to hold a higehr protein count.

I am in the introduction business, and I personally do NOT eat foods from China. There are far too few controls, and far to much risk for myself and my family.

Foodstuffs from more developed places, such as New Zealand, Europe, etc... are really pretty much nontoxic - if you stay away from things like unpastuerised cheeses and such.

How to create an annual report (latest trends)?

Question:
I have to create an annual report for my company. Although I downloaded a few annual reports from other companies, I want to have a clear theory of what to include (for what purpose?) and what the latest trends are when writing an annual report.

Answers:
There are three switch parts to an annual report.

1) MD&A
2) Statutory filings
3) Other

If you are a private company, then usually the annual report is solely the statutory filings bound up on white paper next to a cover on it. Sometimes private companies want to sex this part up because the Board wishes to have something nice to put on their desk. If this is the valise, then outsource to a PR firm. They'll do a nice opportunity. If you don't have the budget, afterwards put about 10 page on the front of a picture of the Board (if available), some nice photos of the office and/or its business and afterwards supliment with a few stock photos. You can consequently add a few graphs that would summarize the year's progress versus its history (if it can be done well and looks positive). Otherwise - think simple and other done. You probably want to omit the MD&A because its a consume of management time since the target audience for the document is the Excecutive Board and Board of Directors. Unless the CEO is a most important narcissist who loves to write 5 page essays on his company's progress - then skip it.

If you are a public company, later you do all of the three section. However, do yourself a favor and outsource the first and last sector to a PR firm. They'll do a professional job and dispense you a template to work off of subsequent year. If you don't have the budget, next use other public companies' reports as templates. This is how:

a) You if truth be told start off beside "Other". This is the "Yay Team" section that have nice pictures of how happy, fun (yet serious) and responsible the company is.
b) Then you own the MD&A (Management Discussion and Analaysis). This is where the Chairperson writes a speech in the region of how the year went. This is usually to the rear looking and all forward looking information is omitted due to the withdrawal of safe-harbor statement on an annual report.
c) The statutory filings (10K) are then bolted on the vertebrae, including all the extra stuff needed for publicly nominated companies (e.g. shareholdings, etc.). Your auditors will do this.

But I think UPS DHL is better.
At 80 lbs. you will probably be hit near a minimum charge to ship by sea. It will probably be cheaper to ship via nouns. Depending on what city you live in you will enjoy different options that are cheaper.

Most through cities have office for DHL/Danzas, Expeditors Int'l, or several other listed surrounded by the yellow page as Freight Forwarders.

What are the benefits and risk surrounded by credit cards, checks, and bread when it come to one owner of shop.?

Question:

Answers:
Do you mean benefits and risks within accepting these types of payment option in a business? The best is currency - it's real, it's rushed, it's in your hand. Granted you have to scrutinize with larger bills so that they are not falsification, but it's pretty easy to determine physical money these days. The worst is check. Unfortunately relatives can write you a check that bounces due to account closed, insufficient funds, etc. The check could be stolen, altered, etc. Your mound will charge you service fees, plus you won't have the money. Then you own to do all sorts of things to acquire your money back (possibly taking them to court). The middle-of-the-road is credit card. The dominance is it's quick and undemanding and most people stipulation to use this method these days - however, here are fees involved for processing each transaction and possibly equipment rental and monthly/annual fees. A entity could dispute a credit card charge, say that it be stolen, etc. even if you really sold them the item.
I would suggest using checks and credit cards for transactions. Because, it's easy to prove the transaction, near cash it's effortless for someone to rip you off and deny that you salaried them. Basically you need a quality newspaper trail, in lay down to track the business performance. Excel spreadsheet is tremendously useful. Best of luck

How do i sort maximum profit for my concert tickets?

Question:
i have two beastie boys tickets, taht i requirement to sell. teh show is on august 16th, so i'm wondering should i see them immediately or wait til delayed july/early august?

there doing two show surrounded by the my city back to vertebrae (one regular rap show, one instrumental).

do u think the sellin price will move about down because the instrumental show is what people will want to see more afterwards the rapping show? (i hold the rap show tickets to sell).

i bought them for 125, and i've had offer for 200 dollars.

Answers:
I would definately sell them on e-bay. I'm an experienced street trader so I'll tell you a few things tangible quick.

Be vigilant, you are not supposed to sell them within the same state, nor for more than obverse value because it is considered scalping.

I would label the shipping cost real illustrious..like $100. Then net the start price low, like $1 or $10. Doing so will also abet defer eBay costs. (And such low price will attract more watchers.) And from experience as well, simply take a money charge or PayPal for such. People like to bounce checks for tickets. And or course, do not messages them out until you are actually remunerated. as a courtesy to the buyer too, should send them out Priority Mail, will cost nearly $4 and get at hand quick. And you can return with a delivery confirmation this path for about 55 cents from the post organization, so you have proof of confinement.
I would put the tickets on E-bay! Send me an e-mail if you do so I can watch the bidding! Please do it! That would be really exciting! :-)
As an Ticket Broker, I can share you that there is no method of knowing when a ticket will be at its hotest. Some shows get hotter closer to the event and after the flea market has stablize and sometimes you cannot contribute a ticket away prior to the show.

I would suggest you get what you can immediately. A $75 profit is very respectable.
