There used to be a restaurant and immediately that it was replaced by Ameritrade company... I DON"T see any inhabitants walking around there.

Or did the owner just bring to the fore the rent? And is the owner a minority? If so, he did OK.

I've be doing web sites rotten and on for about 10 years and I've other found that the toughest part is making it look nice and flowing to use.
Look at THIS page. There is a logo, 3 big, clearly labeled buttons that look like buttons at the top, something to detail you where you are contained by the site and how to get home. Lots of "white space". A simple page for a simple purpose.
Look at www.yahoo.com or Walmart.com, they've get a LOT more stuff but the same core elements. A logo, a few buttons, a navigation aid. Look at www.webbyawards.com, same basics. Notice that adjectives the interior pages hold the same look and touch, same logo, same color scheme.
Your CONTENT is honest but the presentation will keep you busy for a while. Mix within a LOT more text beside the photos and photos with the paper. Describe the project, the materials, the weather! Anything!
Don't worry going on for your HTML coding, not yet. Keep it simple and honest and that will give a hand you get nominated on the search engines.
