Signature next to a pin purchase using a debit card?
Question:
This is in the U.S.
I go to a merchant out of town. I decided to use my debit card as a pin transaction. I enter my pin. Then the merchant requested (May require it but decided not to barney it) my signature on the receipt. I said explicitly the first, I never had to sign for when using a pin. She replied it is the channel are system is set up. I almost replied-your system is set up wrong, but didn't. I thought the point of a pin purchase is so you would not have to sign for your transaction. I shopped in that before, the merchant is trustworthy. They basically upgrade to a new system inwardly the last year.
Are in that other merchants that do this?
Sorry if wrong category.
Answers:
I agree with you, a pin purchase should not require a signature, but if specifically how the cashier be instructed they aren't likely to consent to you out of the store without signing.
For the most slice a pin transaction is a pin transaction with no signature required, BUT I own gone to some gas stations that still require you to sign the receipt also. I am assuming it is an added sanctuary precaution, but it is Very annoying.
If you were required to enter a PIN, next it was run as a debit transaction. Merchants cannot require signatures on PIN / debit transactions. The PIN **is** what identify you. Their "system" IS set up wrong.
It may or may not have be worth refusing to sign for them..up to you..whether it's worth that hassle or not.
Does your debit card own a credit card insignia? Did the receipt hold a dotted line for your signature? If so, the bank clerk probably overrode your debit request and used the credit function.
Some who have answered are correct. The banker MAY have processed it as a credit card if you hold a logo on your card. Some companies do however require a signature on all card transactions, unless you rate at the pump. They say it is for their protection, because you signed the slip, if your dune account comes rear to them as insufficient funds, which if you process debit, it doesn't always articulate the card was decline. It is also for your protection as well. If they enjoy you sign the receipt, and it turns out it wasn't you, but someone who stole your card and know the pin (I have have that happen) then the signature
not equivalent yours would cover you, and the bank would reimbursement those charges to you, and reissue you another card, and have you choose a hot pin. So as inconvenient as it maybe, they are trying to protect themselves, and you as a valued customer.
If you use your mound debit card with a PIN number, you should not be asked to sign the unloading, the correct PIN number is your electronic signature. If the merchant processes the transaction as a credit card, then you would be required to supply a signature. Maybe the cashier pressed credit instead of debit and took the unproblematic way out, lately asked you to sign instead of re-working the transaction. Watch your bank statement, a short time ago be sure you aren't double charged for the transaction.
Ok.there is a moral chance the retailers system be offline at the time and defaulted to "batch" mode where on earth a transaction is provisionally authorised and submitted to the bank following for processing, this is quite adjectives and they are not responsible if the "link" to the bank go down.
In fact some bank go offline at equal time every day!

Well, if it is 7 years ago, DO NOT pay it! If you wages now, it will stay on your credit for 7 years from today's date. It go by the date of the last leisure.
What happens is desperate collection agencies will settle up pennies for each behind the times lead contained by the hopes of collecting. Mostly I've seen this on Experian's credit reports. They will try to strong-arm you into paying or even settling this debt.
Get a copy of your credit folder and monitor it. If it goes beyond 7 years, too unpromising, so sad for them.

no
they might offer to some team, but they aren't obligated.
you do not have a property right contained by your job. Unless yours is a communist country, logically.
:-)
no. but if there are any employment contracts, they would hold to abide to its provisions; (ie. severance packages).
Not unless you have a coalition contract that states they have to rob you.
nope.
I worked for a company that moved to another state to break the union of their production workers after a cruel strike. I know for certain that they did not tender any union member a chance to stir to the new place.
They can choose to proffer an employee a luck to relocate to the new location (but little financial reimbursement for the move) but are not obligated to.
When we moved they salaried travel costs (beyond the previous commuting costs) and let us check into a local motel and put away out as many night as we wanted during the first few months.

Why are vehicle salesmen other considered total dirtbags?
Question:
Sometimes I feel impossible for judging motor salesmen, but I often perceive like the stereotypes give or take a few them being sleazy liars out to spawn a buck at any cost are somewhat true. Recently, my family have been penetrating for a new coup¨¦, and every time we drive into a dealership, there's a car salesman nip at our asses the minute we step out of our car. Not singular do they not leave us alone to of late look for a few seconds, everytime we peep at a car, they spawn up some lie more or less how amazing that car is...even if it's a total piece of second-hand goods. All my friends have told me something like car salesmen trying to grasp them to finance their cars surrounded by the most idiotic channel possible and, luckily, they're smart enough to spot a scam a mile away. How much are weak lp's worth? ex: van halen, acdc, ect.?
Question:
Answers:
While checking the value of your annals on sites such as ebay and other record vendor is a great idea, it is one and only half the engagement. First you need to know what condition your archives are in. If you try to put up for sale poor records for the mint price you saw on ebay and gemm you will enjoy quite a few angry buyers. So first construct sure you know exactly what you have, next grade your files. Once armed with that info, you can check other peoples pricing. Unless you own a really valuable diary, try to price competitively. To get you started, here is a journal grading chart. Good luck!
Mint (M) Absolutely superlative in every process. Certainly never been played, possibly even still hermetic.(More on still sealed lower than "Other Considerations"). Should be used sparingly as a grade, If at adjectives.
Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect story. Many dealers won't offer a grade greater than this implying (perhaps correctly)that no diary is ever truly perfect.
The journal should show no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve should own no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling.
An LP cover should enjoy no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes, either. And unsurprisingly, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the approaching.
Basically, an LP in close mint condition looks as if you just get it home from a new account store and removed the shrink wrap.
Near Mint is the highest price timetabled in adjectives Goldmine price guides. Anything that exceeds this grade, within the opinion of both buyer and trader, is worth significantly more than the highest Goldmine book convenience.
Very Good Plus (VG+) Generally worth 50 percent of the Near Mint value.
A Very Good Plus history will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handle by a previous owner who took good supervision of it.
Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuff or very street light scratches that don't affect one's listen experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the nouns are "OK".
The label may own some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely apparent. The center hole will not have be misshapen by repeated play.
Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, insubstantially turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it be taken out of print and sold at a discount.
In general, except for a couple things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a Very Good Plus narrative highly agreeable.
Very Good (VG) Generally worth 25 percent of Near Mint value. Many of the defect found in a VG+ text will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface uproar will be evident upon playing, especially within soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be striking, as with street light scratches (deep satisfactory to feel beside a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
Labels may be marred by writing, or hold tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not own all of these problems at alike time, only two or three of them.
Goldmine price guides next to more than one price will list Very Good as the lowest price. This, not the Near Mint price, should be your guide when determining how much a history is worth, as that is the price a pusher will normally foot you for a Near Mint record.
Good (G), Good Plus (G+) Generally worth 10-15 percent of the Near Mint helpfulness. Good does not mean Bad! A narrative in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through in need skipping. But it will have significant surface swish and scratches and detectable groove wear (on a styrene record, the groove will be starting to turn white).
A cover or sleeve will own seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the baulk.
It is a common item, you'll probably find another copy surrounded by better shape eventually. Pass it up. But, if it's something you have be seeking for years, and the price is right, get it...but hold on to looking to upgrade.
Poor (P), Fair (F) Generally worth 0-5 percent of the Near Mint price. The record is cracked, inadequately warped, and won't play through short skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water tatty, split on all three seam and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keep the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully seam split, crinkled, and written upon.
Except for impossibly rare accounts otherwise unattainable, records within this condition should be bought or sold for no more than a few cents each.
Well, you hold to find an outlet where relatives are willing to rate good money for it. I've see LP's for as low as $1.00, and as high as $20.00. If it have a story, or is particularly singular, they could go for much more.
Generally those out-of-date "male anatomy rock" LPs are worthless.
Should I find a sponsorship to COSTCO OR SAMS CLUB?
Question:
I have be debating on whether or not to get a political leanings to costco or sams club.. what would you recommend.
thanks
Answers:
It really doesn't event. They both have lately about indistinguishable things in really BIG sizes. They will usually allow "visits", so be in motion to both and see if you like one better than the other - or is one closer so you can accumulate drive time and gas? People tend to prefer the one they belong to, so you're likely to simply get that on here..and sheer numbers are not the best process to make a finding..some things you just own to experience for yourself - so go Shopping!
I prefer Costco one-sidedly.
costco, they have a great deal more stuff!
costco all the agency
I would recommend the Costco club card, because there you are more vunerable to different items that can retrieve you lots of money.
If its possible you might be able to carry both if an option.
but i would suggest costco.
most perfer costco, but the item is that they both sell different kind of things (even though they seem alike) so i would bind both just for the sake of varitey. they also enjoy different sales too and different times
COSTCO!
it's awesome, they enjoy everything! They make their own food which is GOOOD and you can probably find anything at hand. I love shopping there.
as for Sam's Club, they propose less and its related to Walmart. Ive hear they've done some pretty unfair stuff.
I enjoy one to Sams and I love it.I love to buy stuff in bulk
We do Sam's, but I hold friends who do Costco and we usually end up bringing duplicate things to parties..so funny!
I am adjectives about COSTCO primarily because I really don't like Wal Mart
Try them both..see what you deduce. I have a Sam's.
