What's the difference between "Series A", "Series B", etc funding?
Question:
Answers:
Series A, B, etc, generally are used to denote a mixture of series of shares or stock. Stock's rights, preferences and privileges are specific to the articles of incorporation in which they are set forth, but mostly a corporation uses different series in the following situation:
Most startups may put on a pedestal several rounds of funding to fund ongoing investment. The investors typically do not want common stock but preferred stock. Now the earliest investors will promising get the best valuation, so the subsequent round of investor will not get indistinguishable preferred stock but a different preferred stock with a different valuation. Therefore, the first round of funding you christen the Series A round and the investors get Series A shares. The 2nd round of funding is call the Series B round and the investors get Series B shares.
Here's a algebraic example. I start a company with 100 shares. Investor A comes within and offers me $1,000,000 at a pre-money valuation of $1,000,000 but he desires the assurance that if i go broke until that time i the founder gets anything he get his million back. So I voice yes. This is my Series A Round. I issue 100 shares of Series A Stock (which is convertible into common) at $10,000 per share and which has a liquidation nouns of $10,000 per share. So my cap structure is immediately 100 shares common, 100 shares Series A Preferred.
A year subsequent I need more possessions. Series B investor comes and says that due to my growth he is likely to give me a pre-money valuation of $4 million and wishes to invest $2 million. Therefore the company will issue him 100 shares of Series B Preferred Stock at $20,000 per share with a liquidation nouns of $20,000 per share and at the end of the year, I will have a property structure of 100 common, 100 series A and 100 series B.
What are the benefits of this? For me the company, I hold gained prized start up capital but at the cost of going from a 100% owner to a 33% owner. For the Series A investor, they enjoy gone from a 50% owner to a 33% owner but they still are guaranteed (subject to B's preference) of the return of their original investment and they immediately have a third event who indicates that they are willing to buy shares at twice the price they remunerated for them. For the Series B investor, they have salaried a lot for the shares, but they come in relatively belatedly so they could see the company develop and they have a liquidation nouns that protects their full investment.

How much is a $100 dollar bill from 2001 near a blue trademark worth?
Question:
I'm also wondering if the blue seal on the hundred dollar bill is a silver permit.
Answers:
No silver certificates enjoy been printed since Series 1957B. All Series 2001 $100 bills are Federal Reserve Notes and should hold a green seal and serial numbers.
The first entity we need to do is variety sure it is genuine. You own probably done this already, but for the benefit of any future reader: Make sure the note have a watermark and that the watermark is Franklin (Some counterfeiters bleach the ink off of $5 bills and use a color copier to create it $100, but the watermark won't change.) Second, look at the mylar thread inbuilt in the tabloid. It should have "USA 100" contained by tiny letters on it. In codicil, the thread glows below a black light, if you own one handy.
If it checks out as genuine, consequently the next possibility is that the information has any been bleached (the stamp and serial numbers should be the same color, regardless) or it is a legitimate error printing (very unlikely, but possible, I suppose), in which overnight case you would want to show it to a local coin dealer.

What is the avergae annual remuneration for ultrasound and sonographers?
Question:

The lowest 10 percent earn less than $37,800, and the superlative 10 percent earned more than $72,230. Median annual yield of diagnostic medical sonographers in May 2004 be $53,790 in office of physicians and $51,860 in nonspecific medical and surgical hospitals.
Job outlook -
Employment of diagnostic medical sonographers is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupation through 2014 as the population grows and ages, increasing the demand for diagnostic imaging and medical technology. In addition to available job openings from growth, some brief openings will arise from the stipulation to replace sonographers who leave the occupation lastingly.
Opportunities should be favorable because sonography is becoming an increasingly attractive alternative to radiologic procedures, as patients seek safer treatment methods. Unlike most diagnostic imaging methods, sonography does not involve radiation, so deleterious side effects and complications from repeated use are rarer for both the patient and the sonographer. Sonographic technology is expected to evolve hastily and to spawn many bright sonography procedures, such as 3D- and 4D-sonography for use in obstetric and ophthalmologic diagnosis. However, soaring costs may limit the rate at which some promising contemporary technologies are adopt.
Hospitals will remain the principal employer of diagnostic medical sonographers. However, employment is expected to grow more rapidly within offices of physicians and within medical and diagnostic laboratories, including diagnostic imaging centers. Healthcare facilities such as these are expected to grow particularly rapidly through 2014 because of the strong shift toward outpatient strictness, encouraged by third-party payers and made possible by mechanical advances that authorization more procedures to be performed outside the hospital.

Is another minimum wage wander surrounded by store federally soon?
Question:
how will this affect small business?
Answers:
Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007 was signed into statute on May 25, 2007.
It's a gradual increase from $5.15 to $7.25 per hour.
$5.85 starting July 24, 2007
$6.55 starting July 24, 2008
$7.25 starting July 24, 2009
It also includes $4.8 billion dollars worth of tax breaks for small businesses to frustrate the costs of paying their workers more. Depends on your viewpoint if it's honourable or bad. As a worker, try living on minimum wage. As a small business wages are an issue. Hopefully, the toll breaks will do as planned and offset the cost for small businesses.
States also enjoy minimum wage laws. In Washington, our minimum wage is difficult than the final federal wage. Our basic minimum wage is $7.93, it also adjust for inflation for certain field.
Assuming you are in the USA, it's not promising for a time. The last one occur back within February per the attached:
http://media.www.bgnews.com/media/storag...
If one did occur, the effect on small businesses would hold both benefits and detriments. Benefits would include an increased wage attractiveness to potential workforce. Detriments could include the fact that increased wages are also attractive to hot hires at bigger companies with better benefit packages. The more plain detriment is increased labor cost to any company, including payroll tax increases. This results surrounded by lower net profit for any company, which COULD result surrounded by higher prices for stuff or services provided. One has to weigh fairness to force against fairness to business costs. It's a bit of a vicious circle, but it was and is the post of the Fair Labor Standards Act and monitoring body to try to find a balance between the two.
