I know roughly which ones it could be, it be a petrol lawnmower and a trimmer so its not like they own unlimited types.
They didnt have to settlement as they told me that day but used discretion coz it be an unwanted gift we have bought for someone.
Surely people who lose endowment cards etc or they end up shabby, surely if they know all the details as above, a stop can be placed and a exotic one issued. It is for almost lb200 so we dont want to let it jump.

You cannot expect Argos to repayment because of your own carelessness. They give you a refund and you lost it .. your failing I'm afraid. Hopefully you will learn to be more assiduous now.

You have no proof the return was done. Gift cards are not approaching credit cards - they can't be traced and cancelled.
For all they know, you could be making it up. Put yourself contained by their shoes. If you owned a business and someone came to you as you own done to them, with no proof, would you bear their word for it? I know I wouldn't.
I would suggest for something of that amount, you should have taken better attention with it.
